I've really wanted to buy a dress for a while now, but I don't know how to find one. Sadly, I gained some weight over the past few years, maybe because of my necessary, new coffee (with creamer... that's what does it, I suppose) habit. I do some exercise, but it hasn't been enough to lose very much. So I might have had an easier time finding something three years ago, but I guess I'm now about a 42 waist. (even though my size for pants is much smaller) That's more or less what the tape measure says. :frown:

And... I have no clue where to find anything adorable that won't break the bank! The only things I've found have been a few $90+ lolita style dresses... almost perfect, but I very, very much don't want to spend that kinda money! (I've spent too much lately!) I've also seen a few drab, unexciting cheaper things.. no pretty colors, and stuff like that. I guess I just want something in cute colors/patterns that doesn't show lots of skin, though short sleeve is fine.

Where to look? Can anyone help? Websites? Specific dresses? Anything? Please? :sweatdrop:

Please don't suggest going to a store. Not possible. Has to be online. Discreet shipping would be nice, though it's not like I have to have a discussion with the UPS guy or whatever, So it could be a gift, for all he'd know.

What colors do you like? Do you like flowy? What patterns?

uhmmm I dunno, I like the idea of having a pink, purple, or peach dress, but I'm open to mixes and other colors. Flowy is optional. I dunno what patterns... as girly as is possible, I guess. I'm open to whatever is adorable and in my size.... xD

This eBay site is where I got my one dress... It's pretty, cute, and most of all cheap! The one I got doesn't feel cheap, either. I was glad to get something so cute without dropping a hundred bucks... Well, at least not all at once. From the dress, I got myself a nice diaper cover (from the "frilly diaper covers" thread on this forum), tights... It's a great start to a whole outfit if that's what you plan to do. Standalone, though, it ain't too shabby!

Oh, okay. So it's a regression time-specific dress? Or is it an, "I want so badly to be me, I don't care if I'm regressed while wearing it or not! Furthermore, I'm sick of checking off the world's gender boxes," dress?

Thank you. I don't know that they're quite what I'm looking for, but some of those aren't bad.

I dunno. Maybe something in-between or both. :sweatdrop:

You're okay. Anxiety is natural, but here, it's not necessary. Especially on this forum.

Okay, now that I know what I'm looking for, I'll see if I can find you some.

I'm fine, I've been around here for ages, off and on. I'm just not really sure which category. Looking forward to taking a look at what you find!

It's huge because I typed it in my notes first.

Those are my favorites. But I sorta want, at least, short sleeves. Not sleeveless or semi-sleeveless. I really liked that rainbow polka dot one too, the first you posted, but I didn't like the lack of sleeves.

When I look at teens or girl's clothes, I see tons of stuff I wish they'd make in adult sizes. I guess I'm not a huge fan of mainstream modern/current adult women's styles... I dunno.

I noticed a bunch of nice dresses on that wholesale7 site, but most of them don't seem to be available in my size. Here are some I looked at & liked... (I think I also like denim and plaid, not pictured)

I sooooo get you on the short sleeves. I'm a southern girl, and ladies, even Little ladies, keep their shoulders covered. So sayeth Mama Jewell, one of my grandmas.

Oh, so contemporary, stylish (but still quite girly) stuff. I'm with you now. I understand the site I showed off was a little too sissy/lg for your tastes...
Though I would never admit it to her face, I wouldn't mind wearing some things (in private) that my girlfriend has picked out online for herself :p I'll try and see if I can figure out where she's getting some of those dresses next time she orders some more or leaves her phone lying around :p

I liked the stuff you posted a bit. Just some of it seemed too short, or showed more shoulders and/or chest than I'd like.

Was actually on one of the sites I posted, further down the page. Sounds like something you'd like. Or did you notice it and it was too small?

Mods, feel free to just make this say attachment, as my silly self has forgotten how.

There we go.

Wow, I think I really like that one! But I can't find it

Eeeek

"Out of Stock"

Now you know exactly what it's called though, so you can see if any other retailers have it in stock.
