It used to be any thought concerning diapers really. Nowadays the only time I'm likely to get aroused is when changing or when my thinking has focused heavily on my diaper. When I'm in bed and I'm wearing nothing but my diaper and have a much better opportunity to feel it, the feelings are most intense.

The feeling of puting on the diaper, when the plastic is still fresh.
Peeing in a diaper is nice too, but i don't like it that the filling is sliding to the bottom of the diaper. Don't know how girls experience this????

Wearing a diaper gets me aroused all by itself, but once it's on the urge to wet is almost uncontrollable.
 
Being a sissy for me it's a symbol of being vulnerable much like a toddler. I'm against pedophiles don't give me wrong but I thought of being taken advantage of by a male family friend. Makes me horny..its more of a role play thing if that makes sense

Hmm... I think I'm more aroused by the thought of diapers, seeing others wet them (as in porn), etc., than actually wearing them myself. This shouldn't be surprising, really, because for much of my young life I didn't have access to any, and things like commercials and cartoons were what fueled my fire.

Edit: I remember that I did in fact have some diapers around, when my mom bought me some for my baby doll when I was little, or when we watched my cousin. It never crossed my mind to to try one - the ones for the doll would have been newborn-size anyway - probably because I was much more interested in training pants.

Pretty much what everybody has already stated. Whenever thoughts about diapers pop up or when I'm putting one on after thinking about it for a while (binge-purge) cycle, but so don't eliminate my inventory any more. Occasionally after wetting too.
 
It used to be the thought of wearing or even the rush when shopping for them in a store, knowing at some point soon I could get off in one. As time has passed, now being something that only happens a few times a month for me, it is when really wet. I love that warm, squishy feeling as well as the freedom to just go without getting up when in bed. But nothing feels so nice as a thick, premium diaper at near capacity, pressing against me. Nice...
 
It's all kinds of things. I still find things. In that sense, "diaper-sexual" is an apt description for me. It's not all that my relationship is with diapers but it's the ultimate reason I do what I do.

In general, I'd say it's a sensual/tactile thing both in the feeling of wearing and feeling the diaper on the outside. The sounds and smells are important as well. In addition to the physical stuff, there's also the meaning of them, the infantile status of being stuck wearing them. There's a lot of mileage off that and it can play out in many ways. Using them can also be a major factor. They're not the only way I can get sexual enjoyment but they're a big deal to me.
 
Wetting the diaper turns me on more than anything. And the feeling of it swelling and getting squishy :)

A lot of this for me, especially the last bit. I'm not diaper-sexual but being infantilized in some fashion is basically the only way I get aroused...

Diapers are one of the best triggers of that in all the details of their experience. Of course Mommy simply telling me its time for a nap works pretty well too! ^///^

For me it's the feeling and sound of the plastic, changing can be some what arousing and is my only sexual method I use, I some times will keep one of that's maby half wet and love that feeling, one major experience I like a lot is when I pull the tapes lose and get that nice rip sound and what's even better is if the tapes tear the plastic, hoe the rip sound changes and when the plastic starts to tear and offer that sound, from a crisp rip sound and then the change in sound when the plastic tears and the more it tears the better, one reason why I have diapers with landing zones with the outer clear plastic, sure they are loud but don't tear the plastic, when as a child refastenable tapes did not exist, that tactile feeling I absolutely love.
I diapers with the landing zone I will some times use alight heat to weaken the glue and pull that strip off.

I used to get aroused just by thinking of diapers, but that was when I was 16-18. I've been drawn to diapers for as long as I can remember though, so it was never soley based on sexuality alone.

Now I'm 40 and wear 24/7, and seldom ever get an erection from just putting a diaper on. Though of course they can still be arousing at times.
 
I put one on and find some appealing videos to watch (usually something to do with orthopedic braces, leg braces, back braces etc). I turn onto my stomach and move up and down. (like sex i guess?)
 
I only get aroused while I'm being changed, which is probably the worst possible time for a guy to get aroused! I can put on a diaper and change myself all day long without a second thought, but there's something about lying on a changing pad while a woman cleans and changes me that I find incredibly arousing.
 
Good question...in some ways it's just the tactile sense of the padding, plus the smell and sound of a nappy. Mentally it's the feeling of letting go, not being quite in control of my own body, and needing to be taken care of.
