    Default 2016 Presidential Election

Disclaimer: I am barely political, but I like to think I know a thing or two about politics, but anyways, here's my thoughts...

With the primaries coming closer, I have yet to find any other candidate worth voting for other than Bernie. Here are my reasons:
Every other candidate seems to be speaking out their butt about what they talk about. SuperPACs all seem to be feeding them the information they should spew. Bernie speaks from the heart, and seems to really care about the things he talks about.
Every other candidate sounds exactly like the next one. Just as it was last election and the one before that. It's always seemed like trying to choose the slightly more intelligent one. This time around, we have Trump, a bigoted, racist d-bag who wants to isolate the US even more. And then there's Bernie, who doesn't try to cover up his Brooklyn accent like Hilary did in the south.
And most importantly, while every other candidate would answer that our nation's biggest threat was ISIS, relations with other countries, or what have you, Bernie answered correctly that our #1 world problem is climate change. As a meteorology student, I am shown what things humans have done to the environment, and I agree wholeheartedly that our pollution needs to stop or be severely cut back.
While no candidate will ever be perfect, I believe Bernie is a step in the right direction and the best choice this election.

What do you guys think? Do you have a favorite candidate? Why?

I like Bernie Sanders but I wonder how we pay for everything he suggests. We could eliminate a lot of the tax loopholes, something that should have been done a long time ago, but can you see congress agreeing to that, or anything for that matter. As usually, I'll probably be voting for one of my plushies, Moose. He's tough. His best idea is to build a great wall across both the Atlantic Ocean and the Pacific to keep out the Arabs. He's going to make the fish pay for it.

I would be so happy to see the Bern win the democratic primary. The election of my dreams would be Rand v Sanders but neither stands a chance of winning the primary. so yeah four more years of

Best Bernie quote: Bernie has a lot of great ideas but he needs a lesson in economics. Free college education for everyone! Sounds great, but who is going to pay for it? Colleges and universities are in the business to make money. Maybe sponsors like the UCLA college of medicine sponsored by Pepsi?

I dislike them all with a passion. I am going too write in a friends name. The lesser of the two evils is to not vote for evil I think.

I completely agree with you. I'm not writing in a name but the "None of the Above" option is looking good at the moment,

I have a good friend with a group of people who write in his name. I honestly would love to see him as president... He has Doctorate in psychology and law degree. Super chill and laid back. Very smart. multi-millionaire. Basically president material but no one has heard of him.

I'm under the impression that the top 1% might be able to help. Instead of storing all of their profits each year in an offshore bank account, dodging taxes in the process, why don't we make them give up some of their ridiculous wealth to help fund the projects that could actually solve problems? Every legislation nowadays seems like just putting a bandaid on an ever-growing wound.
