i've never thought of it as a passion; mind you, here in Britain, the skies are daily conversation. all the more so with them being so changeable and general splits between the north and south, the east and west. up here, in The Pennines, we tend to get sea-skies and mountain-skies, and that varies from dale to dale (each with own it's micro-climate). so, it's always interesting.BenTennyson said:Seems we share a passion.

Not long ago we did a water pistol fight with my brother (it was not AB play )
ade said:cripes. the last time i had one o' them was way back and, as per typical, it escalated into bigger and better squirters. we had a load of fire extinguishers at ours, from water to co2 to powder, and the powder came out for the finale
there was barely a breeze that day and the powder just hung all over the street (and the windows and the clothes on the washing lines).
sometime in the early-to-mid noughties, the extinguishers came out again (i was able to get them from work) in a motorized version of 'beer can tag' (for those who don't watch My Name Is Earl, it's tig/tag but by throwing a beer can at the one to be 'it'), but with foodstuffs (milk, eggs, flour, etc).
usually two to a car, we'd race around the hills and villages in the middle of hot summer nights, ambushing and chasing each other and getting home for dawn.
oh, nearly forgot:
