    Is it true that once you go there you disappear?

    No. When my dad was in the Navy he went through there a few times. Still here!

    Very neat that must have been cool! I know this is something interesting they should have taught in high school lol

    As far as I remember it's mainly just a myth made up by the author Charles Berlitz. Either way there's nothing to it, so no worries.

    I remember seeing a TV programme about the Bermuda Triangle. I think the gist of it was that there were some unexpected air currents that could blow aircraft way off course in that part of the world, and when visibility was low you'd risk flying into the side of a mountain or... somthing. The unexplained disappearances stopped once aircraft had better navigational instruments like radar.
