Thread: Who was this guy?

    Default Who was this guy?

Years ago I read an online article about a middle aged guy who decided to go 24/7 as a baby girl, but I don't remember his name. Maybe someone here knows.

Anyway, at one point he threw all of his clothes into a dumpster except for his sissy girl clothes and diapers, forcing himself to wear these outfits whenever he went out. He continued to go out where ever he wanted and kept up this lifestyle till he died. Apparently he didn't act like a helpless baby in public but went about his business as if wearing short frilly dresses and exposed diapers was completely normal.

He was a successful stage actor at one point in his life, maybe retired (he may have played the lead in "Jesus Christ Superstar"). A couple of women lived with him at some point who tolerated his behavior but would not become directly involved in role play. (hookers?) He was over 6 foot tall, I believe, with a good build and martial arts training, which helped him discourage aggressive drunks in the bars he still liked to frequent.

I think the article was the result of an interview. Anyone know about this guy and who he was?

Opinions about his behavior? Was it crazy or courageous?

I've never heard of this. I'd love it if I could spend all of my time dressed like a baby, but in our society I don't think it will ever happen. I'm going to say that he has guts, but its because he is a little crazy.
Maybe one day though it would be possible, I mean, here in conservative Utah the courts ruled that Wearing a diaper is the same as wearing a swim suit because it actually exposes less due to bulkiness, and it is culturally acceptable for men to wear speedo style swimwear. The context of the story is, some guy had shown some younger girls his diaper and he was handing out pamphlets directed to some AB style website, he then got reported to police. I'm surprised he got away with it, but there was not enough to qualify his diaper exposure, or the AB website as pornographic since everything private was covered up on both.
Main point is, if conservative Utah can rule that wearing a diaper is the same as a swimsuit, then maybe one day people won't care. It is kinda weird to me to think that I could walk in public in a diaper and get away with it if i wanted too, but the social aspect would never forgive, and I'd probably loose my job for inappropriate conduct.

I think you're referring to this fellow: http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2005-...news/baby-man/. News of his death here: http://www.phoenixnewtimes.com/2009-...-dead-in-home/.

As to what I think about Windsor's behavior, I'd call it eccentric. I don't understand the desire to be public like that but I would support the right of someone to behave in such a way if they're prepared to deal with the natural social consequences.

Hiedi Lynn is another member of the population in our community of people who actually identify as babies/children. This was somebody who at some point had the money to try and make their life match their true identity. I would say we should all be so lucky except that Hiedi wasted a lot of years in pain and in the end was only able to have only so much peace. I wish she/they (don't know how they identified) had not encountered so much friction. People like Hiedi shouldn't have to "have nothing to loose" and then come into money to be who they naturally are. I have a great deal of respect for the late Hiedi Lynn. RIP

It was a drug overdose. You see Heidi Lynn was hurt so severely from past abuse the she became a addict and that would eventually kill her. I forget off the top of my head what type of abuse it was and from whom. Heidi Lynn decided to do this because being who and what she was unfortunately was the only way left for her to function and even that obviously was not enough to prevent her from dying. At this point She was more then willing to tolerate the consequences of her actions on a social aspect because the alternative really was in fact worse.

The articles Trevor provided make for a great read. The first one, covering the interview with William Windsor, aka Heidi Lynn, is a very direct and raw account of the ABDL lifestyle from a confident and intelligent man. He covers binge/purge cycles, self acceptance, social acceptance, reactions to personal public exposure of diapers, the possibility of a 'cure', and relationship issues. I highly recommend this article to anyone here who is not familiar with the guy as it describes a real world example that highlights many of the issues we find important.

Really... I thought she had just died of a heart attack? She was chasing some pretty serious demons for sure though so it does not suprise me....
