Default Found Something a bit disturbing

i have been hearing rumors about this for the past week but as im a ways away i can't confirm or deny the actual article is true. BUT there has supposedly been a mass exodus of all wildlife in the yellowstone national park in the USA. i just found this article which disturbs me a bit. while im out of the immediate danger area (Barley as im in Kentucky) i realise that most of this danger area is over almost 80% of the USA's Farm land and completly wipes out almost three entire states. now im not even sure if this is a hoax or real as i havent seen it personally but it makes me think, if this were to happen how would we actually recover as a nation?

YELLOWSTONE ANIMALS FLEEING PARK. SUPERVOLCANO ERUPTION IMMINENT?

    Well, w0lfpack91...
There has been recent clustering of seismic activity in that area (I believe North of 'Old Faithful' about 20-miles)...

One of the park officials interviewed on TV, suggests that it will still be many hundreds of years before this super volcano comes to full activity again...

The fact of the matter is to me... we don't know, but we never did... make the best of your life, and try not to let it worry you...

The migration of animals is supposed to be a normal ranging for food, etc... and not in fact a mass exodus...

There's really nothing more to do about it as far as I can tell...

    relax,
    -Marka

Yes, that's just what they want us all to think.

I clicked on this with the intent of posting the same link you did, so nice job

Doom porn is big business. Given the Mayan calendar, Nibiru, 2012 DA14 and comets Elenin and Ison failed to do for us, I guess supervolcano paranoia is the latest wheeze. Per the Snopes piece, the fact the originator of the video confirms they were running into rather than out of the park should tell you everything you need to know about the scientific credentials of those making the claims.

To a limited extent. CCD has the potential to cause major issues in the world's food supply. Realistically, my concern is tempered by the fact that I live in a wealthy country and its effect here will be limited.

This isn't because I lack empathy. It's just that there are a lot of things threatening the world and if I lived in fear of all of them I'd curl up into a ball and never get out of the house. I need to worry about things that impact me first, things that impact others second. Considering I study tropical viruses, I'm already doing my part to help the developing world and simply need someone else to worry about this one.

The migration is completely natural! I wouldn't worry at all.

Right up there with Y2K. Don't listen to doomsday freaks of any kind. Read the Book of Revelation yourself (if u are a Christian) and draw your own conclusion. I read a sci-fi story about Yellowstone supervolcano causing the need for mass exodus from Earth.
