The top requirements for articles are:

  1. It must be useful to ADISCers.
  2. It must be of substantial length, and (if a review of something) include pictures of that thing.
  3. It must have good spelling, punctuation, and grammar.
  4. It must be original (ie: not something copied from somewhere else).

Also, some more general guidelines:

  1. Articles should have a proposed title, however:
    1. Titles will be displayed in the standard place for articles. They will not be displayed as part of the article's body text.
    2. Titles, along with article text, may be changed during the review/editing process.
  2. Articles should not make use of custom fonts.
    1. Bold, italics, and reasonable size changes are OK.
    2. Weird fonts and symbols are not OK.
  3. Articles should be written from a consistent point of view. It can be first person or not, but it must be consistent.
  4. Articles may not include any licensing information, such as a line saying "Copyright _____" or "Licensed under ____".
