Thread: Regression Songs

    Default Regression Songs

About being regressed, promoting it, decrying it, displaying it, even how-to guides. What music? What songs? Even if just part of the lyrics is about being little... what songs are all about it FOR YOU? I'll begin. Mother, by Pink Floyd

1999 Pampers Ad, Rod Stewart, Forever Young

I'm wouldn't say these are "regression songs" for me as much as they are nostalgic and kind of make me think about and wish for childhood, nevertheless here's mine:

Poets of the Fall - Given and Denied [Lyrics] - YouTube - The lyrics of this one in particular I find very beautiful and poetic.

    MGMT "Kids" Video - YouTube

Nightcore - Forever Young - YouTube

Edit: I nearly forgot thiisss one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RuV2agQPgps - Reminds me of watching Matilda as a kid and also played at my school leaver's assembley ^_^

I personally find heartbeat/ womb sounds incredibly relaxing. I dont exactly regress to it but I listen to it when I sleep or when I'm upset and it really calms me down.

Hmmm, there are a couple songs that seem to make me think about ABDLism.

Off the top of my head, I can say

Never grow up by Taylor Swift

The Beatles' ''She Came in Through the Bathroom Window'' has an interesting line in it:

She came in through the bathroom window
    Protected by a silver spoon
But now she sucks her thumb and wonders
By the banks of her own lagoon

Ah, I imagine you mean this? With the moose sounding Canadian, with voices very like Bob and Doug MacKenzie, and with some raccoons at about 2:54

Mathilda, the story by Roald Dahl? I loved his stuff as a kid too!

@ Trollbear Never grow up by Taylor Swift
http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YYeO6Lw...%3DYYeO6LwgEes Well... that's just about perfect - and thanks a bunch for sharing it. Her voice reminds me a lot of Edie Brickell, wife of Paul Simon.

I'll also +1 Taylor Swift's "Never Grow Up" ... such a sweet song.

One of my favorites is "Baby Mine" - it's been sung by many different artists since it first appeared on Disney's Dumbo, but I like the version by Alison Kraus.

I also I have a special spot in my heart for Rainbow Connection -- also one of my wife's favorites.

Another song that completely relaxes me, because my dad played this album all the time, is Hiding Place... I associate it with simpler times, when I still believed in God.
