Is this just true for the Euro market? I thought North American suppliers were still recieving plastic-backed.

So, its finally happened.. I've ordered from Save Express a few times before, but ordering disposables from across the pond was never on my list (not cost effective) I just wonder when it'll stop here. s'ok, Abena loses my business at that point.

Yeah, thought Abena was still making them. I didn't see anything over on XPMedical's site and they'd generally have some notice (they did the last time Abena pulled this).

Here Gary explains that Abena will continue makeing the plastic backed M4s at least for the North American market.

This is a sad day for the European diaper market, as I'm sure that Abena's decision is based off of the medical community and not the age play community. Hopefully some suppliers will be able to convince Abena to send them some plastic-backed shipments still, as they are still making them for the North American market.

I was about to post this too. XPM is always on top of things.

I use both the Tena Slip Maxi and Abena M4 and this is very sad news, the tena slip maxi is great and very absorbent and well fitting but it doesn't have the bulk of the M4.

The Molicare Super Plus is also a good alternative for those interested.
