I also Have a 1994 boxlight projector that I found in 2008 at a thrift store for $10. Anyone else have a video projector?

I've got an EPSON (admittedly I paid close to $1000 for the thing).

Looks sweet! Have you tested it yet?

I have a bit older Epson Powerlite in my living room, they are a lot of fun when you can do 90+ inch image for almost nothing.

Yah it works great, no stuck pixels and the bulb says its only 7% used.

EDIT: It looks like the bulb only has %7 life left. It has been used for 1800 hours, still a good deal.

Wonder who would give goodwill a sweet projector like that.

Every time I go to Lincoln to visit my brother, I make a trip to the Goodwill Electronics store. So far I got 2 1500VA UPS (one APC and one Belkin; batteries still fully functional), 2GB ddr2 ram for my laptop, and a sega genesis (keeping my eyes out for a 32x bios card and DOOM for it). Not to mention near countless other things that I found there.

As much as I would like a projector there littarally isn't a single wall in my house sutiable for one. Also I'm a real tightwad and there's no chance of me finding a deal as sweet as that.

This was my first projector I got in high school, I traded a green laser for it, You can get a green laser on eBay now for around $5 free shipping so I say that's what I paid for it. It's very rugged and low price for bulbs, only $3 for 200 hour life. I like it for taking to parties for everyone to play games on or watch TV, I don't have to worry about someone blowing out a bulb because their so cheap. Another cool thing about it is that it has 2 bulbs inside, one in stand-by mode, if one burns out you can flip a switch and the second bulb kicks in.
