You and a big-person size seat would just barely fit in the car, I think

Just trying to have a little fun. Its a car seat. If you were a normal kid, would you want to take a long road trip in it?

lol I see, yh guess it would be torture to sit strapped in that or any car seat for more than an hour or so.... so yh guess it would be torture lol

I recall one like that when I was young (a bit more babyish than that one).

I remember the 5-point harness felt quite cosy and safe

HAHAHAHA. Gosh I found that hilarious ^-^ (no sarcasm).

But yes, that definitely is a toddler torture device!

Yeah, its like a little baby rack. Between sitting strait up and sticking to the vinyl it was a real treat!

i think the torture in a sense is being restrained for long periods in one position and on a vinyl padded seat. More importantly, the person sitting in that seat will have limited vision, ie cannot see out left or right, as the head rest wings really protrude forward. For those interested, they also made an independant metal mount kit for that seat, so it could be raised from the floor, in a semi reclined position, possibly designed for hatch back cars, so one could mount the seat solo in the boot section.

classicseats, would love to see a seat like that in larger form. Could market it as a sort of a retro loung seat, maybe some advancements or addon could be a cup holder for the beers, and a continously variable recline option. Harness can be part of the optional package of course
