Conservative. I see no reason to spend money on useless projects and having that though process is a damn pain while living in California. My state spends a LOT of money on a LOT of stupid crap. I thought me and other California's passing a prop that lets Indian casino's have more slot machines (for more money to the state) would help to not raise taxes, I was wrong.

    Young Conservatives FTW!

    I'm mostly liberal.

Liberal views: Pro gay marriage, anti Iraq, Wall Street elites suck, Big oil sucks, religious fundamentalists totally suck.

Conservative views: guns rule, tax-and-spend sucks.

Liberal. I think the market needs to be overseen and given some restrictions, I am strongly pro-environment and in favour of green technologies, I believe in equality for all and that the state can and should do much to help the less-fortunate.

At the same time, I don't believe in reckless spending and I like to see taxes kept as low as possible, though I recognize that the taxes I pay go to programs that I use.

    That's socialist, not liberal.

Socialism is the government subsidizing most of the nations industries, and while its on the same spectrum, its very hard rare to find actual socialism. Its just a misconception most people have about the actual definition of socialism.

I usually am pro-government and pro-spending. Everyone talks about how taxes are so bad, but taxes are 100% necessary. The more people that my taxes can help, the better.

By the American definitions of the terms I'm a moderate Conservative. I tend to favor smaller federal government and more freedom for states in deciding laws. There are some issues where I'm not in line with many Conservatives, though, such as the environment, global warming, and alternative energy. However, they're starting to come around .

No, it'd be socialist if I was in favour of strong market regulation, which I am not. There have to be boundaries and laws in place to protect the little guy, but we don't need strong regulation.
