Default Where are you on the global fat scale?

BBC News - Where are you on the global fat scale?

    My results:

If I use my weight from last year, I'm actually lower than even the lowest average for any other country, but as of now there are three countries below me.

    Where do you fit?

    Erm...

I'm below average on the national scale, but above average on the global scale. I'm 5'4" or 5'5", and last time I weighed myself I was 156 pounds. I'm workin' on it... =/

BMI is an estimate of how "overweight" or "obese" a person is
    National
    Below average
You have a lower BMI than 92% of females aged 15-29 in your country
    Global
    Below average
You have a lower BMI than 70% of females aged 15-29 in the world

I don't know how accurate this is XD

Apparently I have a lower BMI than 100% of people in Australia aged 15-29.

And 90% of people in the world...

    Did you know?
If everyone in the world had the same BMI as you, it would remove 76,957,401 tonnes from the total weight of the world's population.

21 BMI... lower than 94% of males aged 30-44 in the UK, and most like someone from Afghanistan!

And who'd have thought that Croations would be typically more obese than Americans or Brits?!

It's meant for the "average" person. Obviously there are going to be outliers, like bodybuilders, but it's fairly accurate for MOST people. It's not meant to be the be-all, end-all scale.
