Thread: Questions about ordering to a P.O. Box

Default Questions about ordering to a P.O. Box

Just wondering if someone could help me.. My apologies, as I am sure all of you get a tiresome amount of these. In my defense, I have read through a lot of posts and articles about this, I just have a few more questions and would like to hear about personal experiences and methods on this.

So, I'm really itching to try some of these top of the line diapers, but I need to order extremely discreetly. I have a Vanilla Visa Gift card with the value I have priced out online and my next stop is to sign up for a P.O. Box. I just have certain anxieties about these two problems:

    - Is the prepaid Visa (Vanilla Visa) safe to use? They won't need to send some kind of bill right?

    - Can you sign up for a P.O. Box for a month only?

    - Could people like my parents find out that I have an open P.O. Box?

    - Don't you think if someone like your parents found out that you had an open P.O. Box, that it would look more incriminating and suspicious?

One of the main reasons i like the P.O. Box method so much is that I don't like really any website to have my address or information. But, from websites like amazon, I order things fairly often to my house and my parents don't mind.. If anyone could help me out in the least bit, it would mean so much. Thank you!

pre paid visa is the safest way. i use them all of the time. there is no bills with a pre pay. you just have to keep track of your ballance via. atm machime. po. boxes are usualy six months min. mo one will know that you have a po. box unless you tell them. have to be at least 16 to rent one though.

Pre-paid visa cards are impossible to track. In fact, they are so effective, i've even heard of them being used in money laundering. Also, if you are 16 but dont have a driver's licence, can you use your passport as an ID?

Should be safe to use and you shouldn't receive anything in the mail about it.

No, the shortest term is 6 months. Have you considered having shipments sent to a FedEx or UPS facility instead? (Hold for pickup service)

Unlikely, although from what I have found out, it is sort of up to the local post-master's discretion on weather or not to issue a post office box to someone under 18 without parents needing to approve it. I really tried to do a lot of research into the USPS guidelines for this when I wrote the article on it but I couldn't find a straight answer.

    Speaking as a parent, yes.

    Hope that helps!

Are you asking about ID for a post office box? A passport should work fine since it is a federal government issued photo ID. I believe the USPS has a list of acceptable ID types listed on their website.

you could wait until their wedding anniversary, ship two things from Amazon, one present one ABDL item, and tell them not to open it because its a surprise. Not only will they probably not look, but it may also give you brownie points with your parents.

I like this idea the best.. I read about it in one of the articles. I guess you would just check what shipping services the website uses and have it ordered there? How do they get in touch with you to let you know when something has arrived?

I've had a PO Box since I was 20, the same one I still have now at 52. I can't say about the age thing but the box is good for many reasons. It would keep my mail safe as I traveled when younger, kept porn and other items safe from my parents when I lived home and now I own a house on a private drive where the Post Office will not deliver mail. I have but no longer have diapers shipped there now that UPS and Fed-X will come down my drive as the free shipping does not apply to USPS shipping.

most will e mail you to let you know when items arive. as in ups some like fed x requires a phone as well. but most of the time they will leave a tag on your door to let you know when you can pick iot up.

You will have to contact the merchant who is selling the items you want to buy to see if they will ship it this way. Not all of them will. I personally haven't done it but I am sure there are others here who have.
