Thread: The fine art of diaper decorating

Default The fine art of diaper decorating

A few days ago, someone posted a question on putting stickers on diapers to make them look more infantile.

I walked to the dollar store after classes today to see what I could find that could decorate my boring, white diapers. I found TONS of stickers, ribbon, and some special kind of scrapbooking stickers. This is what I came up with:

    Trial one and two

It took no more than five minutes per diaper. The diaper on the right with Pegasus was my first try, and the one on the left was my second try.

It was cheap to do (10 dollars, but I ended up buying a sewing kit, a bottle, and barbeque skewers as well...), and easy to make, and I think they look cute.

Does anyone have any other ideas of what could be added? Are there any other products that would work well for decorating a diaper? It would be neat to try some different things and see how it looks.

There is an online store called diapertapes that sells well, diapertapes, that you can use do decorate diapers. [removed]

My experience with "normal" stickers is that they will fall off while wearing the diaper.

CD markers are useful to make drawings on your diapers. I do that sometimes when I have nothing else to do. Here are some pictures:

Nice. I like Mandelbrot Set on the third one. Polynomials are very babyish!

Yeah, I know diapertapes; they have some neat stuff. What stops me is the shipping costs. It's like, 20 bucks to send a roll of tape. I think for now, $2.00 for a sheet of scrapbook stickers is pretty good, and these heavy plastic scrapbook stickers are pretty resilient on even my cloth covered diapers. Definitely worth trying out...

If you want a cheap alternative to "diapertapes" look for something called "deco tape" It's the exact same thing at a fraction of the price. Plus you have more designs to choose from.

So cool, I'll try that myself when I have some spare time.

No kidding! I checked this out, and I am entirely impressed! They're also meant for fabric too. I'll have to buy some of this. Thanks!

Wow that's cool. I'm pretty impressed cheap items like that can make such a huge difference.
