Thread: My first diapers. =]<3

Red face My first diapers. =]<3

I'm looking into buying my first diapers! It's so exciting!

I'm torn between the Abena Abri-form X-plus M4's and the Medium Bambino Classico's.

Finally I get the chance to wear and I can't make up my mind. :P

As far as absorbency goes, it seems as if they're equal (although I may be wrong...) I love the babyish look of the Bambino's but the M4's are cheeper (although they come 2 less per bag in my price range).

What're your thoughts? Cut a newbie some slack, huh?

I'd personally say that the Bambinos would do better.

After a bit of research, I pulled this out of an old thread:

    Bambino Classico-3992.4 mL or 135 oz= ~$1.78/diaper
ABU Cushie- I've looked virtually everywhere, and can't find an absorbancy rate= ~$1.72/diaper

Hi SecretDprLover, You picked my two favorite diapers. I would recommend the bambino over the M4 though as I love the babyish look. However I do find the M4 is more absorbent.

I think with your choice's you can't go wrong.

This sounds silly, more like ignorant, but the Bambino's do hold up to at least one good wetting right? Cause I don't plan on wetting more than one at a time, maybe twice, but that's it. :P

Bambinos will hold plenty more than one wetting (unless you have a gigantic bladder), I think to only wet them once would be kind of a waste, seeing as they could hold quite a bit more.

Well it'd be fun to try them anyway. :]

From what I hear bambinos will hold like 3 wettings

If you only going to wet once or twice Id say go for the Abena M3s

Less expensive then your other choice M4, but sane style and less absorbant so you wont "waste" diapers, if you follow.

The cushies do not hold a lot. They are super cute looking though. I love the one tape design, makes sitting all day and moving around very easy and baby like. I wear them often and stuff them with 2 huggies overnight diapers, making them thicker, and allowing them to last for a long time.
