Thread: Some shortalls I made...

    Cool Some shortalls I made...

I bought some overalls a few months ago at a thrift store to use to make shortalls. I think they turned out alright. I don't have any childish appliqués for it just yet, but I plan to add some soon. I'm thinking maybe “Thomas and Friends”, or “Winnie the Pooh”... I haven't decided yet. I added snaps in the crotch too, even though I don't have anyone to change me... (The shirt is from Wal-mart.)

Here's a view of the front:

And a view of the back:

And a close up shot of the crotch snaps:

Also pictured is my NUK5 (which I love) with the pacifier clip I made out of “Toy Story” ribbon and crimp-on snaps I bought at Wal-mart. The clip took all of five minutes to make... I also have some “Cars” and some “Spongebob” ribbon. (I have extra ribbon that I may use to make pacifier clips to sell, if anyone's interested.)

What do you all think? Ideas? Suggestions?

Thanks! Sewing it wasn't that hard... You should give it a try sometime!

Thanks! Although I don't get many opportunities to wear them. (They're what I would probably wear if I were to attend an AB meet-up, which hasn't yet happened for me.)

Thanks! Like I said, they're still not completely finished yet though... I got some special ink-jet printer iron-on appliqué sheets, but I haven't decided what I want... Any suggestions? (I'm going for something in the 2-3 year old boy range.)

Those look great! Bob the Builder is cool! Where did you get them? Do they sell appliqués? The look of yours is pretty much what I'm going for... Like I think I cut the legs a bit too long, so I may shorten them a little.
