    Default Stinking blue outline - html coding

    Hey guys.

    I've been coding up an html/css storm these past few days trying to set up a website I had an idea for. The coding has been great, the basic outline is ready, and now I need to do some cleanup on the uglier formatting. Here's my problem:

    I've been using GIMP (photoshop for linux users) to create graphics for links. I've used the basic html code for the icon:

    <a href="local/header.html"><img src="homepageart/localref.gif" class="local"/></a>
    and the matching css code for positioning it:

    img.local {
    float: right;
    margin: 5px;

    }
    Unfortunately for me, my graphics link has defaulted a freakin blue line around it. I've tinkered around to no end trying to fix it, but with no success.

    Click image for larger version.

Views:	27
Size:	1.2 KB
ID:	3654

    Is there any way to remove it? Can I shrink the outline size to a single pixel? Can I at least change the colour?

    It looks very unprofessional, and I'd like to see it pack it's bags. I'll try to attach an image of it...

    Thanks guys!

    Enjoy!
    Sorry, cap'n. I tried it out, but I'm afraid she still has that stinking blue line. I don't believe it's a CSS format issue. I think it has to do with the graphic link being, well, graphic... kinda similar to a hypertext. God be darned that I can't figure it out.

    That would be lovely if you could take a peek for me!

    CSS isn't too bad. It's pretty similar to html; the characters and layout are a bit different, but it's easy to learn.

    Mah bad. Should be this:
    border-style:none;

    If that dun work, then I'd have to see teh CSS and HTML to look at it.

    Wine doesn't like the apps i use in it. Office 2007 takes over a minute before wine will load it. When it does load it i get the classic windows title bar on it (which is horrible) And Spotify sometimes works, sometimes doesn't.

    I know there is Spotify for Linux, but i can't get it to work.

    I have had fireworks, photoshop and dreamweaver running in Wine before. Had no problems except the very long startup time
