    Default Hello Everyone - Again

I have been on this site for a while but have not signed in for quite a while, and could not remember if I had ever made an introduction (I think I did, but I might also be loosing my mind).

I am interested in diapers and sometimes play a little with regression, more in an imaginary manner, I consider myself AB/DL and way back I was definitely a TB.

I work in the tech industry and own my own business. This keeps me really busy but when I find time for fun I might be taking photographs, listening to music (all kinds), writing (I am working on a couple of books), or even attending a cultural event. I do a lot of volunteer work for both charitable and other special interest groups. I enjoy getting to know people and traveling all over the place, ok I really do not like driving or even flying but going to really cool places is the best!

I am here because I enjoy communicating with like-minded individuals that really can relate, even though the discussion is probably about something else. Not having to be afraid and having someone to talk to is something I can always use.

It looks like you didn't, since it says this is your first thread and post!

Oooh a fellow volunteer! What sort of things do you volunteer for? I volunteer in a NFP coffee shop for old ladies, to get them out of the house and socialise a bit, and two years ago I volunteered for a charity called CHICKS for a week on one of their camps, where they take underprivaledged children away for a week and let them just have fun for a while

    Welcome to ADISC

    Welcome to the boards, Garzilla.
Always happy to meet a fellow philanthropist, I've done a fair bit of voluntary work myself... though I've often found myself disillusioned with the underlying greed of many charitable organisations I've worked with. I'll not mention any names here, wouldn't want to step on any toes.

Ah, a fellow writer as well, where lies your forte? I centre around horror/thriller myself (tried writing a bit of erotica but somehow it always ended up as a horror story with a little bit of naughty stuff in it).

Yea, apparently I didn't but now I have

I have volunteered for all sorts of things. The National MS Society, MDA, Children's Miracle Network and similar organizations. I have also served in a variety of roles in a few professional organizations, I was even on an international board of directors. I have mentored a few children with Asperger's Syndrome. I have also volunteered with several community and sporting events including the World Figure Skating Championships and the World Cup. There is so much more that it is hard to remember it all.

    Thanks GoodDog!

Sometimes greed is a problem and I have seen some things that sometimes make me wonder. I am not so worried that someone, or maybe lots of people, benefit from the charitable organization but I do have a criteria for who I am willing to volunteer for or even support financially. The absolute bottom line is that I am intimately familiar with the organization and that they are focused on making there part of the world a better place. I appreciate that you are not mentioning names and I also try to avoid saying negative things about anyone or any group, unless it is clearly warranted.

I write about all kinds of things. Being technical I have written many articles, white papers and other things. I also do a fair bit of political and social commentary. The books I am currently working on are social/inspirational more or less.
