Thread: Funny Norwegian trend - The OnePiece jumpsuit

Default Funny Norwegian trend - The OnePiece jumpsuit

Basically this has caught on like a virus in Norway. You'll see people wearing this pretty much everywhere, at home, in public and at school.
it all started as a laughing matter, people thought it was a joke.
It really caught on strong though...

As they say on their site:

"Tight jeans and slim-fit shirts may be in fashion, but they are not especially comfy to just relax in. With winter slowly creeping upon us we need something a little more snug and cosy. Make sure the OnePiece is your leisurewear of choice. It's warm and soft. What else could you possibly ask for?"

In some ways they look pretty cute as clothing, but they also look a little odd and ridiculous in my opinion .
The ABDL-ish side of me kinda loves them though...
I've been debating with myself whether or bot I'll buy one too..
Either way, here's some screens from their site

What do you guys think, would you be caught dead wearing one of these?
Do you think they'd catch on elsewhere with colder climates, or do you think Norwegian society is just weird like that?

oooh I kind of want the pink and white one or blue/black and white one, thanks for the link might order one! ^^

They look really comfy and for a good price also!
All though I will only wear it when Im home alone when I just wanna be all cozy so maybe if Im watching a movie or something.
my parents would really find it wierd, same thing for friends I suppose so I would not wear it outside my house!

It does look better then our joke thing here, The Snuggie. One things has to be asked though, are these great for at the game?

Although, as seen here, the snuggie does a good job of making you look like a Monk :P

The AB side of me really likes them, I like the lemon yellow & pink & white striped ones - cute and babyish. I'm tempted to get myself one, I have lots of sleepers and pairs of footy pyjamas but this would be something a bit different. I don't think I'd wear one outside of the house though, unless it was snowing maybe. From this site they're fairly expensive though for what is essentially a one-piece sweater & jogging bottoms and for that reason I don't think they will catch on in the UK unless the price goes right down - if Primark starts selling a one-piece for 20 I'm sure they'll fly off the shelves and become the new student fashion, I can see students wearing these to lounge about uni, but not if they have to pay 80+.

MUST. RESIST. DOING. A. PIRATE. IMPRESSION.

But yeah, they look pretty cool. I doubt I'd get away with one, I'm not sporty, a teenage girl or a middle-aged woman :P
