Default 5.5 Richter Magnitude Earthquake East of Ottawa, Anyone feel it?

    Hey all,

So about an hour ago an Earthquake of 5.5 Richter magnitude shook up Eastern Canada. I didn't notice anything except for my balance being a little weird. Did anyone else feel it?

I made a comment in IRC. I was like "My bed is shaking... on its own D:". Weird. My first earthquake.

Earth does not have enough power to shake the U.S. - your nation is too fat!

I just learnt that. Curiously I didn't even notice it...

Back in 2005 we had an earthquake of 5,4 (almost as strong) whose strongest point was 10km away from me 0_0. Trust me, I felt it! Blinds in the house were shaking like hell, like everything else, that was freaking scary!

We have no natural disasters here besides flash floods, and even then, those are pretty weak! Ho ho!

A colleague felt it, but I didn't believe her until we ran and checked the seismograph in geology. Oh my name still says I'm in Saskatchewan. I was at UWO in London, ON.

Not this person, if I'm anything I'm way underweight, according to most people I know and I like it like that.

I just saw our local news they did feel buildings shake about 30 or 40 miles from where I live.
