No, this will not tell you how good you are at recognizing colors.

"ColorQuiz is a free five minute personality test based on decades of research by color psychologists around the world. There are no complicated questions to answer, you simply choose colors with a click of the mouse!"

I just found this and the results were actually fairly accurate O.o

Has anybody else ever tried this out?

ColorQuiz.com - The free five minute personality test!

My results were a bit mixed, but some of them were pretty spot on. Especially:
"Wishes for freedom and independence, free from limitations and restrictions except for the ones he choices to give himself."

    Pretty cool.

Emotionally withdrawn, feels forced to make compromises which makes emotional attachments difficult.

Open and emotionally involved in relationships and easily finds satisfaction through sexual activity.
So, I'm emotionally withdrawn, and emotionally involved. Okay, sure.

It did say I'm feeling unimportant in my current situation and I want to be better than others and have more attention, but, well, who doesn't? That's the thing about these personality tests - they're usually only accurate because all of the outcomes apply to pretty much everyone.

    Your Existing Situation

Desires to be respected by others in order to gain their trust and support for his own personal gain.

Eh, ok. I'll go with that. By the way, I'm apparently just using all y'all for my own personal gain. Take note.

    Your Stress Sources

Unfulfilled hopes have lead him to be cautious and mistrusting. Insists he have full control over his actions and will not let anything hold him back or stand in his way. Unwilling to give up or surrender anything and demands a promise of safety against future setbacks or loss of status. Has no hope that things will get better in the future and this negative attitude lead him to make impossible demands and refuses to come to any sort of agreement.

Well that's depressing. I'm waiting to hear back about my applications to graduate school.

    Your Restrained Characteristics

Open and emotionally involved in relationships and easily finds satisfaction through sexual activity.

    Yes.

Is feeling emotionally drained from stressful and tense situations. He is in need of peace and quiet in order to overcome his lack of energy and may become irritable if he does not recover.

    Aren't we all?

"Feels he is not receiving his fair share and is unable to rely on anyone for support or sympathy. He keeps his emotions bottled up, leaving him quick to take offense to small things. He tries to make the best of his situation."

    Eh.

Open and emotionally involved in relationships and easily finds satisfaction through sexual activity.

    Yes.

    Your Desired Objective

"Wishes to live in a calm, peaceful, relaxing environment, where everyone gets along and there is a strong sense of belonging."

    Don't we all?

    Your Actual Problem

"Prefers to be left in peace and avoids arguments, confrontation, and conflicts."

Humm... no. My actual problem is that my undergraduate GPA is too low.

    Your Actual Problem #2

Disappointed because his hopes have not come to pass and he fears coming up with new goals will only lead to further disappointment. These conflicting emotions lead to a feeling of anxiety and depression. He tries to escape into a peaceful and calm relationship which offers encouragement and protection from further disappointment.

It sounds like it's trying to say I want the sweet release of death without actually saying so.

I'm calling shenanigans on this test. It's spitting out random answers that most people will agree with and think the test actually did some analyzing. In reality, it generates a random set of numbers and pulls items from a list. The only things I agree with here are incredibly non-specific and are things that most people would think about themselves.

Results were meh, a couple I could relate to but they were mostly meh. I might try it again at some point, I don't know if I did it right...

    Default My results

    Your Existing Situation
"Needs a peaceful and quiet environment. Desires an affectionate and faithful partner who will spoil him and treat him with importance. If he feels mistreated or a lack of attention, he may withdraw."
okay.....I am aware that I am a bit spoiled but I don't mind not getting everything I want.

    Your Stress Sources
"Would love a partner with which to share a happy and conflict free existence, but his need for individuality causes him to be over critical and demanding. This leads to problems and disagreements, bringing them close and then pushing them apart, so that his ideal situation can never be fully developed. Though he wants to satisfy his desires, he holds back a part of himself, never allowing himself to give him to those urges. He believes that by holding back he is showing himself as a superior person who is a cut above the rest. He is critical, particular, and a taste for the finer things; he is judgmental and feels it necessary to express his thoughts and opinions as if they are correct. He enjoys original yet subtle beauty and strives to make friends with only those whose tastes are as refined as his and who can help stimulate and increase his intellect. He desires others to admire him and view him as a highly respected individual."
So it's saying that I'm full of myself? No, not really. I tend to let others have the limelight. I also prefer to have a rather diverse group of people for my friends.

    Your Restrained Characteristics

"His desire to avoid open conflict and tension forces him to put his desires on hold, even though he is feeling restrained and uneasy."
I don't feel all that restrained. I'm a patient guy. However, I do not like arguments.

"Emotionally withdrawn, feels forced to make compromises which makes emotional attachments difficult."
Well I do usually clam up in front of new people.

Current situations have left him feeling overwhelmed and tormented. Needs to avoid further activity or demands and concentrate on relaxing and becoming emotionally sound.
Really? I'm not 100% sure about that.

"Believes his hopes and dreams are realistic, but needs reassurance from others. Has strict standards when looking for a partner and wants guarantees that he will not be disappointed or lose."
........I don't know what to say...

Conceited and is easily insulted. Holds back emotionally but is able to find satisfaction through sexual activity.
Ok here it's just plain wrong. In fact I'm the opposite. but I don't feel insulted.....maybe it's more accurate than I thought?

    Your Desired Objective
Is extremely determined to make his presence known as an important part of any team. He is flexible and able to do what is necessary to stand out from the crowd. Is willing to overcome any conflicts and difficulties that may stand in his way.

    Your Actual Problem
"Needs to be viewed and respected as an outstanding individual, in order to build his self-esteem and self-worth. Resists any type of weakness and sets high standards for himself."
    well.....yes and no....

    Your Actual Problem #2
Works toward building his position and increasing his self-esteem by viewing his accomplishments (and those of others) critically and harsh judgment. Insists on things being straightforward and clear.
    wait.....I have 2 problems!?

Now I'm more confused about myself more than ever!

    Quite the opposite.

    -

    Your Desired Objective

"Wishes to live in a calm, peaceful, relaxing environment, where everyone gets along and there is a strong sense of belonging."

    -

If by that, it means the planet, devoid of myself and all human life, then yes.

    -

    Your Actual Problem

Lack of energy leaves him unnoticed to pursue further activities or demands placed on him. He feels powerless which leaves him agitated and depressed. Tries to escape from his struggles by searching for peaceful and restful conditions in which to relax and recover in an atmosphere full of security.

    -

Yeah, I can work with half of that. A lack of energy though? LOL. Dear Gaia no. I'm not depressed at all either.

    -

Overall, it seems rather sweeping and generalized, like a horoscope, with some things applying deeply, whilst others not even close. As can be expected from an online quiz.
