Default Hi! I am the Maki.

Hi! I'm Maki, and I'm TB.
I found this site a while back, and it seems like it's full of friendly people, and I want to be a part of it.

Anyway, I've been reading posts for about a week without an account, (sorry) and something happened. I'm going to make a thread about it in the Teen Baby section, so look out for that.

I'm still really paranoid about posting here, so don't expect me to be too active.
Hopefully I'll meet some friends here... I'm usually not too good at at that

I was so paranoid about actually posting on *B/DL forums that I waited until college to do so. I kind of wish now that I'd taken this step earlier. I commend you on stepping out of your comfort box

You're free here to set your own pace. If you want to be private, we'll respect you for it. When you decide you want to be more active, we're here to support you as you work out whatever *B/DL means to you, your identity, and your worldview.

    Welcome from me.

I am not sure what you may be paranoid over, but I'll address some possibilities:

As others have said, if you are paranoid about talking about really personal things, things you may not be entirely comfortable with yourself, let alone discussing with strangers, then you may stick to neutral topics, of which we have many: cars, guns, diaper info of all sorts, all kinds of music, everything-furry, and so on. There's no pressing need to talk about your family life, politics, sex, religion, medical issues, or anything you are not comfortable talking about. Yes, just go at your own pace.

ADISC is built around being safe and fun for ages 12 and up. Which means personal security is built in to the site's focus: we discourage people who might pressure you to reveal personal photos, personally identifying information, or attack you in any way. If you have any such issues report them to the staff (purple usernames) and they will take swift and decisive action.

The site is as safe as it can be from outside attack, stealing private information, and all that sort of thing. In fact, we have vast stores of information on how to keep private your real-life activities, from buying and hiding supplies, to your browsing activities; and we have many people happy to share ideas on such things.

You may decide, as you read more, and over time, who's who, who you would trust and with what; unlike sites dedicated to live diaper-role-playing, dating, and porn, we provide a space where you can get to know people as people; you'll see that the bulk of interaction here is off diaper topics, though there's plenty of that.

I hope this addresses the possible reasons for your paranoia; though I encourage anyone to always be a bit wary, and not take any kind of security issues for granted, a little vigilance and attention to prudence not only keeps you safe, but does so for all concerned.

And the indoctrination speech is over: yay. Milk and cookies time, now you can meet and greet (I especially encourage newbies greeting newbies) and plunge into whatever topics take your fancy.
