    Default Terrible Rash

I got this rash on my butt, it isn't visible unless i itch it, at which point it becomes horribly painful to even sit on. I am using diaper rash cream, just a store brand one and it still hurts. Any suggestions?

Maybe you should see a doctor than asking a website that isn't even specialized in rashes. If you even want a chance of us trying to help you, you're going to have to give more information.

well it was caused by sleeping in a wet diaper. I have applied rash cream 4 times over 2 days and it has not gone away. if i do not scratch my butt nothing hurts, but when it itches and i scratch it, it gets horrible.

You might need something with an antibiotic in it, or maybe something with hydrocortozone.

It sounds like it might be a yest infection, by any chance are you using a cloth like diaper?

I've got a bit of a rash myself, on my inner thigh area where my diaper's leak guards probably wrap around. It stings when I move my leg but I can still wear diapers with a little discomfort. I put baby powder around that area (no broken skin). I guess sleeping in a soaked diaper was a bad idea XD

I can vouch for that at the moment >.<
Got the same thing on the inside of my thighs, its been there a few days now and it starting to go but it itches like hell and its even worse right now as I cant shave down there until its gone, funny thing is it hardly notices if I wear a diaper, but I figure tha'll just prolong the healing process
