    Default Hi, I'm new here

My name's Nick, I live and go to high school in central Jersey. I'm 16 years old and like to play airsoft, even though I feel allot of wars can be solved by diplomacy(to some extent). Right now I'm in the process of learning to drive. I have my learners permit until September, then I'll be able to drive on my own! My view on controversial issues are some what mixed. Pro-gun rights, Pro-gay rights, pro-choice, and about war; I feel we should play more defensively. I hate picking sides during elections, democrats and republicans both can't represent my views. The last election was hell at my school, we live in a wealthy area, but at the same time a rural-suburban one. So in my school at the time, there were many arguments between hardcore republicans and democrats, but mostly the Obama fans and the republicans. OK, back to about me, I'm planning on joining civil air patrol. Its not joining the military, but they teach discipline, leadership, and do community service. Also allot of the teens here also want to learn to fly some day. But, its volunteer work and I STILL need a job. Anyway, about me being a DL. I've had these feelings since I was maybe 12 or 13. Around 14 I was trying homemade diapers. When I was 15, I started googling things, and I learned what ABDL was. For some reason I still felt alone because I wasn't a *B. Over time I learned more and more about this and I eventually saw where I fit in, I was a DL, and I had no idea there were so many others like me! I still havn't tried a real diaper yet . Anyway, this site looks great, its well organized, the people seem nice, there is no nudity or crouch shots, and no age restriction. That's how I got kicked off of diaper space. I hope I didn't go on too long about DL, I know the 'how to introduce yourself' said not go on on about diapers, sorry.

Nope, cause you included stuff about you. And I'm glad to meet you, I just got my permit recently too and I've never tried a real diaper either. I hope you enjoy your stay here and have fun!

Welcome to the site, and very nice introduction. I'm originally from Toms River, though that was a long time ago. This site actually started out for teens, so if there was an age restriction, it would be for people like me, not you. You should fit in very well. I have a feeling you will be a good addition to the site.

Yes, being a DL is perfectly normal; I am one also, not into ageplay (though I am partial to furplay in chat.) If you think about it many people have fetishistic tendencies; how many like their favorite gender in a Football uniform, police uniform, pretty lacy frillies, school uniform, a cheerleader outfit, a space suit, or shiny leather? They don't tend to call themselves fetishists unless they are a little intense or obsessive about it; it is simply a matter of degree. (Not to mention the body-part types, the foot or hair fetishists.)

As to politics, why vote for a party? I vote for the best candidate in my riding or city ward, even though I am a member and supporter of the Green party. Competence is king. I'll take a good conservative or marijuana party [Marijuana Party of Canada ? Parti Marijuana du Canada] candidate over a lousy Green Party member. And who says a party speaks for all issues? Idealogues, that's who, and they are becoming obsolete. Those are guys who think that to be a good liberal they must agree with all "liberal" positions. Or that if they are conservative generally they must be "conservative" on all issues; that welfare or single-payer healthcare is bad because it isn't conservative or a liberal must be for gay marriage. Or that a fiscal conservative (like me) can't be socially liberal (like me.) Log Cabin Rebublicans Log Cabin Republicans - Home certainly are for gay rights. In Harris' thread http://www.adisc.org/forum/mature-to...socialism.html I pointed out that shareholders - especially employee shareholders - who are activist shareholders - can be seen as capitalist or socialist. I hope that helps in some small way with the political confusion.

Welcome to ADISC! Hope that this site can bring you valuable information about the lifestyle of *b/dlism. I can easily say that your intro thread is the most extensive O have ever seen. So yeah this place is a nice community. To add to one of the things you mentioned I have a friend that was in Civil Air Patrol and he showed some interest into it before he quit.

Thats so weird, I'm from central jersey too! lol there have been so many Jersey people on here that just randomly show up, and I thought, all my life living here (only like 9 years lol) that there were only very few in this state.

Anyway, its nice to meet you. And don't forget to post a lot. This is a really cool place, I hope you like it here.
