I'm sure many of you already know but Tumblr is at it again at ruining their platform, this time going after all adult content in an attempt to get re-enlisted on the Apple app store. So many people in our community are about to get blocked and their content removed. Link
 
Who cares there are far better platforms out there. Capitalism 101 dont like business practices move to a competitor.

Tumblr has been shit for a long damn time. Part due to the folks running it, part due to the community it has gathered.

Lots of better places for adult content. No idea why anyone bothers with them nor is surprised when they start banning content as they've done many times before.
 
I personally find it funny... are there people who go to tumblr for non adult content?

What’s the over/under on a December 18th bankruptcy filing.

Yeah, I'm pissed about this. My ABDL blog has been a great place to connect with other kinksters and now it's gone. I can't believe there's nothing else really like it.
 
Tumblr going non-porn made it to an article in The Washington Post. They said the same thing about it being only a porn site with no other redeeming characteristics.

I go to tumblr for non-adult content. I go there for photographs of nature scenery, gifs and quotes about my favorite shows, video games and movies, posts and articles relating to some of my favorite subjects, and to follow safe for work artists.
 
If your Tumblr has tons of followers, go buy your own domain and hosting and install something like WordPress. Simply announce the adddress on your tumblur and take down the content that will get you banned

And if you don't like any corporation's business practices in an industry, make a consumer cooperative. (This appears to be the winning solution at the moment.)
 
I have never used Tumblr.
 
Those of you who have tumblrs / follow stuff on tumblr, I can recommend using TumblThree to download/back-up your stuff and/or any tumblrs you want:

It's Windows / Mac only and you're going to need a lot of bandwidth if you're backing a lot up.
