Switching to a different schedule

So next week I'm gonna be going to a different schedule at work, I've never switched work schedules like that before, and my recent switch to a different (much better) job has only been slightly different (starting work a little later, actually getting done earlier because of a shorter work day, but now I work Fridays when I used to have Fridays off most weeks).

So is it pretty easy to change schedules like this, or might it be a bit rough at first?

I mean in the end of course I will adapt, I'm just curious what switching schedules in a big way is like and if it might be a hard experience at first.
