i don't know how it would be possible, i just wanted to feel like I'm being held and close my eyes and not know it's just a pillow.

Aww, that's so adorable. I dunno if there is anything like that though

I believe there are body pillows that are pretty much the size of an adult, some of them are even printed with anime characters on them (if that's your thing). I have a plain white body pillow on my bed and I know that while it doesn't really replicate the feeling of being held, it certainly does feel as though I'm cuddling or sleeping next to someone when I snuggle it or hug it during nap/bed time.

I suggest you do a search for some body pillows and see if that's something that can scratch that itch :)

xionghaizi, your avatar is adorable!

I like...have a gigantic plush caterpillar (creatively named "Catty Pillow") He's so freaking huge. I have a twin bed and he'll go all the way up the back side and curl around the top so that his head is at the other edge looking out at the bedroom. :3 (Like a giant "L")

When I'm in a mood, I'll roll him up in the blankets with me like a big cocoon. I don't get the 'held' feeling, but he's definitely large enough to make a surrogate 'snuggle buddy'. (And he has many many legs.)

(PS: For portable worm snuggling I have a smaller one I call "Wiggle D. Worm" My mom surprised me with him. I suppose I'd been grumping that I couldn't take my cattypillow with me.)

For the 'feel like someone is holding you', I second the weight thing. I don't have a weighted blanket, but I sometimes can only sleep if I have something else pulled on top of me. (Like a heavier blanket + my regular blanket. I have a small and very soft pink blanket that is extraordinarily heavy for a blanket that doesn't have weighted areas. That will do it when I'm in that kind of mood.)

get one of those giant plush bears

I use a body pillow when I watch TV in bed and wrap it around myself from behind, if it were weighted it would probably feel more authentic but I think it feels like I'm being hugged from behind.

there are both body bolsters and pillows available, usually called maternity pillows. Some are just the equivalent of a very long pillow that you can rest your arms and legs on, others are U or V shaped so you can feel them against your front and back.

here are a couple of links to the UK Amazon site so you can see what I mean.

U-shaped.

Single large bolster.

Hi LittleAndrea,
I don't know about weighted pillows, but you can get weighted blankets. Have a look at - https://www.healthline.com/health/weighted-blanket-for-anxiety

I actually think I've seen a body pillow somewhere online with that specific purpose in mind, I think it was a woman's knees or something...

I’m autistic and use weighted blankets a lot, they are very calming to the nervous system, and can feel like you’re being held when you wrap yourself up.

See the teddy bear in my post/profile somewhere. He's awesome, weighted paws you can drape over you while sleeping on him. If you can't find, pm me reminder. I'm in bed now.

I got your back. Turns out one was actually made, and it sells on amazon too. It is not perfect, and there is many kinds like this. Hope this helps (Although one set upright as if cradling would be better)

Moonlight Slumber Pillow

I also have a 72" body pillow. I like natural feather pillows so bought mine at https://thecompanystore.com for less than that including shipping. I bought my big huggable teddy/pillow with weighted paws to hug here: https://www.vermontteddybear.com/3-lovey-buddy-bear-kit

Also I highly recommend a weighted blanket. I bought this one that is dotted like a baby blanket, but I feel like that's not that important. The blue green 20lb one is still on sale for about $175 after coupon, which is about what I paid.

They are noticable, feels like someone has their arm resting on you. The only small drawback to the bear is that it's hard to sleep with your head on a pillow instead of using the bear as a pillow. He's got synthetic stuffing of course, and I prefer feather or down for that so don't typically try to sleep on him.

I understand you written that for OPerator , but I think I will buy me one of these too. Fantastic link, how are the weighted paws tho (like heavy enough to hug you back?)
