My wife and I watched that show back when it first came out, in the 1970's I think. It was a great show, at least at the time. I haven't seen it since then. I think it only ran for 1 and a half seasons, or something like that. I was disappointed when it got cancelled. I think it went over the heads of the average American viewer like so many intelligent shows.

tiny bit off topic, but then not so..

But... why do Americans always cancel shows once they have the UK audience hooked?

In the UK we don't ditch shows halfway through (or at least I don't THINK we do)

My favourites are:

Elementary
CSI - Crime Scene Investigation (when it first aired in UK)
Bones (we're still at least 2 series behind)
The Blacklist
CSI Miami (again, when it was on in UK)
NCIS

obviously we only really watch Elementary, Bones and The Blacklist now. Well, correction *I* - Simon watches tv all day long, they're just the series I watch with him.

At the moment I'm also into audio books on YouTube Been plowing my way through Niven's stuff... Lately The mote in God's eye. Good times :)

Just finished watching Tiger & Bunny, for me that was a 10/10 Anime. Rare for me but going to watch the movies now as well.

Started watching Orville, originally I thought it was a Star Trek spoof but actually the comedy isn’t disrespectful at all, it could actually fit in the Star Trek Universe.

Started watching Shannara season 2 and enjoying it.
