That's pretty cool that she held onto them. Do you have any pics of that blanket sleeper?

I recall wearing plain-yellow ones around the mid-70's myself. I think the heat from the dryer would make the vinyl, somewhat brittle and cause the cracking and peeling of said vinyl... which I would pick at, as though it were a hobby .
They were simply hazardous especially on shag-carpeted stairs (like stepping on a banana-peel!). That, and the cracking and peeling is why they discontinued the vinyl and, I think they generally stopped making the toe-caps to reduce material and labor costs, to manufacture...
I got some white vinyl textured upholstery cloth - that along with getting the fury, faux-mink material (very fluffy fleece, as found in some blankets and throws)... that I'm going to ask my seamstress friend to put together a scaled-up, retro-pair, for myself... (hopefully).
A few searches and, this image following, was the closest match to those particular vintage... View attachment 29521...
These appear to be the mid to late 80's... probably the last of the vinyls
Anyway, best of luck on your searching,

p.s. I don't know what brand my childhood one's were... could've been the Dr. Dentons - Likely whatever Sears and Penny's would've had back then...
Yeah I am familiar with those Sears Winnie the Pooh blanket sleepers. I actually had a few blanket sleepers from the 80's up through the early 90's that had the white vinyl feet and toe caps. I recall seeing a lot of manufacturers switching to the cloth feet around that time. Hope you get some nice custom blanket sleepers made the way you want them. I plan to do the same.

Those were good quality blanket sleepers!
