Just got the email. As of 30 minutes ago, ABU Kiddos are now available worldwide.

https://us.abuniverse.com/product/kiddo-by-abu/

Priced the same as all their top-tier diapers: 34.99 for a pack of 10, 84.99 for 40, 142.99 for 80. 6 dollars for a sample. Looks like they even have the new tapes. Judging by ABU's recent history, I'd get them now before they go out of stock. Hopefully I can work out some solution for shipping so I can get some before that happens, because I really wanna try them out.

LittlePawz are also their first diaper available in small sizes (besides Preschools).

I just ordered a case of the larges for myself, looking at the pics the mediums look kinda small on there model and other pics floating around the internet also allude to a smaller than average medium diaper, so I took the plunge and went large.
Hopefully these are in the Md warehouse and I get them the next day (which will be Tuesday)

The medium Little Pawz are pretty big IMO. I have a 32" waist and they're too big for me. Unfortunately, there's no overlap in the size range between small and medium with ABU. I got a pack of small SDK and I can barely tape the very edges. I wish they made the smalls a tiny bit bigger.

Hmm... owls.

I gotta admit, ABU'S line-up is rather tempting, and depending on if and how much I win on my upcoming casino trip, diapers are on my wishlist. However, I've refrained from ordering from them because of their past, and despite the company having changed hands I don't know if I can purchase their products without feeling... icky. It's a personal morality thing.

Really? I'm a 32" waist too, but ABU mediums fit me perfectly (granted, 2 tapes fit me a little better than 4 tapes because of my shape). I definitely don't fit anything large, though. I once bought some Large LittlePawz and Safaris because the other sizes were out, and the tapes almost overlapped. Kiddos would probably be the same.

Admittedly, I do like a smaller fitting diaper, so the mediums might be considered a proper fit for most people my size. 2 tapes also fit me better. I'm sticking with SDK-just hoping they adjust the sizing of the smalls eventually so I can fit into them a little better.

When I get the large kiddo's ill write up a review, I still have plenty of sdk mediums and a few larges so it will be easy to compare.

Im an 34 inch waist and my past experience with the SDK and Cushie medium was the tapes were on the very edge. I wear the little paws large at night and they are a bit big but give me the coverage that I need. I havn't had the guts to try a little paws medium because personally why change what you know works. I probably should since once in a while it would be good to go out in a little paws where I know ill need the absorbency without the extra material so to speak but thats what I use the barebums and cushie for. The barebums large fit really nice but are a tad smaller than the large little paws. My experience has generally been that a medium in anything is pretty much just to small for me. I tried my partners lavender medium once and it was like wearing a bikini diaper. Had pretty much no rise and didn't last very long. I'm also a person that likes my tapes to be slightly more in the front rather than on the sides. My personal preference I guess. There never really was a guide that says "How the diaper should be worn or Where the tapes should lay". Lol

Picked mine up today (Mediums).. They look to be the same size as my Medium Lavenders.

They are more green than blue to my quick glance (which is awesome since green is my favourite colour.)

Will report back tomorrow!

While I don't know Casey personally (owner of ABU) the messages I have exchanged with him, his reputation from people that I have spoken too that have met him and how ABU responds now seems very ethical and honest.... I trust them and I can't stand corporations, slick executives and general shrinkflation bastedry.

Plus their diapers are EXTRAORDINARY in my humble opinion.

Also I love the "can only buy what's in stock."

I'm IN for a case of mediums! The front & back waistbands are a great addition-- both are present on the Huggies I used to wear in the late 80s-early 90s. One tape on each side provides a fun look with increased mobility and this will be a good test on the new tape lock technology just released. I'm happy to finally see a one tape diaper with front and back waistbands.

I'm disappointed.... That I haven't been able to enjoy these for years!

I didn't do a quantifiable size test but they seemed to be the same size as the Lavender when stacked on top.

Unfolding the size seemed correct to my memory, fit was fabulous and they are soooooo soft inside.

First clear tape went on perfectly easily, the second one was a tiny bit trickier with the front elastic (not a hurculean feat) but once on these feel perfect.

Absorbency seems to be the same as the other v2 vintage which is excellent, I did the fold first though to maximise it.

Thumbs up from me, ABU can now forge ahead and make my dream diaper a Huggies for Her '90s Homage all pink plastic... they could even use their own taping panel critters and this cute owl inplace if the muppet babies.

Glad to hear they're awesome.

Similar to how ABU prints SDKs which are clearly a near-reproduction of the 90s Pampers, I'd die for an ABU spin-off of the original white-backed Huggies using the Kiddo chassis. It's very similar, especially now being clear-taped AND with one on each side. The Bambino Teddy is currently the closest landing zone print to the Muppet Babies the old Huggies used to feature. I'm sure ABU's designer Marci could do much better and help ABU tackle that untapped vintage-style market.

For absorbancy, what are you referring to as "other v2 vintage?"

Any pics?

Yeah, I tried the smalls as well and they barely fit. I too wish there were an overlap. The mediums fit well enough, but something just a little smaller than the medium would be perfect. I'm a 30" waist.

I just opened up my case of kiddo larges, they seem like the same plastic as the sdk's thickness seems slightly and I mean very slightly thinner, they have clear tapes. The largest seem to match the sdk larges and the padding shape is the same.
The color scheme is awesome tho and the front and rear elastic is nice, no front flop.
I'll wear and wet these to see the absorbency

The kiddos held the same as the sdk' s, felt the same to, the new style tapes feel better, don't put as much pressure around, dual waist bands really help this diaper stay tighter toward the top instead of the roll over effect of plastic I normally get.
I changed into the Abu barebums large, best way to describe it is that I'm wearing a tykables size 2 with different colors on the shell, I know some people are looking for tykables, these are very very close to being identical, super thin to start, lots of sap and expand, they also wick pretty good, no front waist band though but the sizes run like tykables, I'm normally a medium in 4 tape diapers but these and tykables in the size 2 or larges.. hope this helps

Just changed into a preschool large, they are larger than the kiddos and bare bums, a reminder I'm 6'1" 34/35" waist flat stomach, I should have gotten mediums in these, they are thin (hence day time marketed) comfort is great, plastic is soft, designs are awesome.
