Thread: Justice Democrats!

    Default Justice Democrats!

Hi everyone, in light of recent thread about Dumpcare... I mean Trumpcare, I wanted to bring to every disenfranchised voter a little ray of hope that is actually starting to shine more and more. The host of the popular alternative news outlet, The Young Turks, Cenk Uygur has partnered up with the leaders from Bernie's campaign, and a new wing of the Democratic party has been established and now growing exponentially even to the point of running viable candidates.

This subcategory of the Democratic Party is called Justice Democrats whose phenomena has been talked about on by other prominent YouTube media such as Secular Talk, the Majority Report, etc. This party is committed to rejecting corporate money, and stands with the majority of Americans who want common sense policies, and is bent on getting those that don't want what is best for the people, primaried and replaced. For more information, I will provide a link to the party's platform.

If you like what you see, please consider donating, and becoming a part of what Bernie called The Revolution. The parties is funded by the people and not corporations, so it's livelihood, and our only current hope at making a better American future is completely dependent on us to keep that dream alive. Thank you for reading, I just want to raise awareness for this wonderful party, and to give people who are depressed about the current abysmal state of things, a sense that there is still hope for America.

I'm very happy to hear about more people knowing about Justice Democrats and getting involved. In such a dark age of politics in America, I am very happy that there are efforts to create actual change and fight for real progressive policies, taking on not only Right Wingers, but also corporate Democrats beholden to Wall St and other special interests.

In the last couple days, they've released a couple candidates that they're running, such as Paula Jean Swearengin in WV, primarying Joe Manchin, who is without a doubt, the worst Democrat in the Senate. I'm hoping they announce more candidates, that they all win, and that we take back the country away from corporate interests and the monsters currently in charge and restore power to the actual people.

I'd donate, but I'm not a democrat. I'm independent. Though I have to admit, democrats have a LOT more in line with my own values than any other republican.

Let's just hope these justice democrats don't become the exact opposite of the tea party republicans. I want more moderate representation, not extremists.

It's all extremism and nothing with Democrat In the name can be trusted. We are talking about the political party that founded the American slave trade and regularly aligns itself with domestic terrorists (antifa which is quite humorous that they claim to be fighting facisim by using facisim)

While Antifa is a group of modern day witch hunters, saying this is vindictive of an entire political party, is far too exaggerated. Beyond that, i definitely despise the young turks...so yea I doubt I'll be able to support this.

But on the whole I disagree with the Democratic party's habit of taking $10 from you and giving $1 back, just so they can pat themselves on the back.

Bad news , we don't need another another sub party sub party faction , we need to put all our bullshit aside and get a candidate the stands for the people's interest instead of corporate greed , disenfrachised republicans and democrats need to come together and become the party of _____? Such as we have before in becoming the party of Lincoln that remained until it became the party of Rosevelt, we need that kind of unity to fight what trump is about , no special intrest , no bargsining of " i will vote for them if they change X or do Y " we can't take a fractured partisan approach , this is a fight for life and the right to remain free ,anyone not on board with that is insane . The self interested electoral college and greed and partisan crap won over reality, unity is our only path back so that no one's special interest over rules the people's vote.

Just the fact that Bernie is involved is enough for me to say hell no. He's an admitted Socialist. Socialism has NEVER been sucessful in any country that's tried it, and never will be. We need to get back to our Constitutional roots. It's what has made this country last as long as it has. Only in the last 50 years have we been really straying from that, & we've been slowly going downhill since.

The exact same sort of things can be said for republicans too. Which is why I'm hoping this new party tries to align with moderate democrats. If they go as extreme as the tea party then we're all doomed to never get along.

I read today where Aetna has nearly pulled out of Obamacare exchanges in all 50 states (the last remaining two being Iowa and Virginia until 2018) as a result of large financial losses. They are not the first, and will not be the last. Obamacare appears to be unsustainable - as what many have said. This is a far cry from "You will be able to keep your current doctor and medical plan". Obama had absolutely no idea what he was signing - or worse.

Don't forget as soon as Trump took office he sabotaged the exchanges to make sure he killed the ACA , He stated "if we kill the ACA they will come running begging to get our plan written into law" wrong again!
