Why would you stop wearing after meeting a mate? if that said person can't accept you for all of you then they are not worth the time or trouble.

It's not a diaper rash, but rather just from chafing. I bought some zinc oxide diaper rash cream for it today.

I'm starting to realize what so many others have already said. The paranoia about going out secretly diapered is really in your head. I keep doing it and nobody notices anything. Eventually, you'll forget you're even wearing until you need that comfort feeling, which you then get instantly. Nobody cares and really I couldn't care less what kind of underwear others prefer under their clothes. I'm not an exhibitionist and I don't have any fears of ending up on peopleofwalmart.com or anything like that.
I find that the vinyl pants are not worth using unless to contain leaks, I have worn some of the loudest diapers and no one notices, even in an office environment I was wearing the attends plastic version that is kinda loud and no one noticed

Seconded. While others are extremely unlikely to notice the crinkle sound, wearing a diaper cover for this reason can still abate any fears of it happening, which will reduce stress and is still beneficial afterall.

Of course, I've also come to realise that NO diaper is ever going to be 100% leakproof, for every single day you use one. Wearing a diaper cover helps to contain that leak and helps you to notice it faster too. This alone makes them pretty important to wear, and if you can also get the benefit of reduced noise then that's all the better.

I used a lot of time for acceptance. And now I really enjoy it, and my partner are also playing along, wich is really nice :-)For me it was acceptance on how I am, feel and some physical damage that will not change.

How do you know you accept yourself as a diaper lover? When you no longer feel ashamed about it or sick about it. Wearing a diaper feels normal now.

You're 43 years old so how are people trying to get you to quit? You're an adult so you can decide if you want to wear diapers or not. How is anyone going to know you're wearing them unless you're going around telling everyone about it. It's non of their business so they don't need to know you wear them. Unless you have a partner so they are trying to get you to quit, then you have a issue to deal with to get them to understand this doesn't go away.

Also your posts are very hard to read when you keep using a lot periods when. you. type. like. this. This. is. not. how. you. do. it. This is how you do it. See how I only used one period in "this is how you do it?"

I was out and about today (Walmart trip) and there was a table set up getting signatures against a trans bathroom thing. I overheard a nasty comment as I was going in and it sort of scared me because this was somebody's response to one alternative lifestyle (for lack of a better word, apologies) and here I was walking by, just thinking, "Oh man, if you only knew what weird thing I was hiding right under your nose!". It bothered me partly because it reminded me how far we still need to come with this vanilla society of ours.

I really try to be supportive of other lifestyles also in public. I think it is important that we show support as there is still some way to go og general acceptance of certain lifestyles.
