I've been looking everywhere for a functional diaper liner for use in my cloth pull-up diaper and can't find any that will keep stool off the diaper. I currently use a disposable diaper. It was suggested on another forum that i use rice paper and cut what I need. But it would be so much easier if they made them in adult size. Anyone know of any?

They sell roll of nappy liner material in supermarkets. It's a continuous roll, so you can cut to size. Intended for babies, but the roll is wide enough for adults.

I've never seen anything like that in the US. Are you maybe talking about paper towels?

No. Paper would be terrible for babies -- it would keep the moisture on their skin. I think it's made from bamboo fibres. It's non-absorbent, biodegradable and flushable.

The roll I bought was about 25cm wide and needed to be cut to size. But otherwise, vaguely similar to this:

Huh, that's interesting. Of course, that link comes up with "no sellers are selling this within the united states". Definitely not something we have around here.

There are some on Amazon.com too. I thought they were nearly always used with cloth diapers. I'd be surprised if they're uncommon in the US. Of course, it's rare for parents these days to use cloth diapers, so maybe that's why you don't see them very often... :-/

It's only the big supermarkets and specialist parenting shops (like Mothercare) that would stock them.

If they're made for babies the widest I've seen are ony 8" wide. I thinking something12" wide would dp the trick. I've heard of using a roll of rice paper (usually available in a craft shop but it ust sounds uncomfortable. Ones for babies feel soft next to the skin. And more mothers are using cloth diapers. The new fad seems to be pocket diapers. I'll stick with using a disposable adult diaper as they seem to do a pretty good job of keeping stool off the cloth diaper. It makes laundering so much easier. I'm ust surprised because it seems there would be a market for them. I know of quite a few adult IC people who prefer cloth diapers. For night use anyway.
