RIP Dan Rooney

Pittasburg Steelers owner passed away today at age 84.

I saw this and it made me sad. We're big Steelers fans in my family. Dan Rooney was an amazing man and a football visionary. Who else would have given Rocky Bleier a chance to play after his legs were machine gunned in Vietnam. They told him he would never play again, but he became one of the great running backs because Dan Rooney gave him that opportunity.
