That would make sense actually. Unpeeling a tape will often induce a static charge on both halves (unwind a roll of tape in the dark and you'll often be able to see a glow where it's separating from the roll). If the tape is getting charged, it will attract things such as arasolized baby powder like a magnet.

I think I'll wait until the next batch to try them once the tapes have been fixed.
