What is the loudest diaper?

I would compare ATNs to the plastic wrappers on hard candy! Worse yet, those leak on me really easily. The loudest I have right now is ABU Space. The plastic appears to be thinner or at least somehow different than the Little Paws and Simple. They are all loud because of the taping panel, but the Space I can hear under PUL pants, compression boxer briefs, and sweatpants (all 3 at once). I don't think it would be loud enough for others to hear.

I have a Noise Meter to measure the volume of sounds.
Going to test all diapers we currently have and will post the outcome here.
Even though i think i know which one it will be, i'm very curious.

In this test wear an "A" frame skirt to act as a sort of downward facing megaphone.
Place the audio device (microphone) on the floor directly under the open skirt and
record your results. Most all the other methods will not have a direct exposure to
noise and be shielded !

I have already tested all diapers, just posting it takes a bit of time since it's a very long list.
I have just held the diapers directly in front of the microphone and tried to get as much noise from it as possible.
There where 2 diapers clearly the loudest.
Here's a short list with only the loudest above 80db, the rest comes later:

Perhaps I am getting old and deaf but those ratings seem really high.

I own a decibel meter as I am on strata with my building.

Were these ratings done with a cell phone app or an actual decibel meter?

The metal lid of a dumpster bashing shut when emptied by a truck tops out at 90 Dba.

Hope my ATN or Lil'Paws are not really in that range!

ABDL Factory - just curious if you're testing only ABDL diapers, or all diapers you have access to? I would surely think that the Attends with Waistband - or the now defunct Dry Comfort diapers would sure be near the top of this list. But I agree as your tests show, the Fabine diapers are very loud and crinkly, which I love!!!

I've found that diapers with a plastic landing zone tend to be the loudest. Either that or cheaper brands like depend attends store brands. Dry 24/7 I feel is quieter than abena. But while noisy they're both fairly tame.

I have tested over different 100 diapers / pants / inserts, pretty much all we have.
The list is showing mostly printed diapers as they have the landing zone which is making it much louder.
This was measured in front of a VOLTCRAFT SL-50 making as much noise as possible.
Will be adding the full list when i have more spear time, shortly after the weekend.

Attends waistband scores very high indeed, but a little less then Dry 24/7: 79.7db

well technically, when you are walking...you are not crunching down on the landing zone because its so stiff...so maybe the loudest without the landing zone is clearly dry 24/7. Amazing!

The tape landing zone mostly peeks out of my pants, so i my opinion this part is even more exposed then the rest an therefore much easyer to hear

Dry 24/7 hands down. Tranquility's are a close second. I don't mind the crinkleness of diapers so really.
