Best / most comfortable diaper cover or plastic pants?

Yes, I usually wear a size up in the rubber pants I wear - a large (my usual size) will fit over, say, one prefold but not a disposable plus a washable brief, let alone two prefolds (actually, I have difficulty getting an XL to fit over that).

    How fast

They would likely go for the suprapubic catheter first, and use the temporary sphincterotomy (with botox) before considering the permanent one.

    How fast

I also meant how did it work physically? I saw some chastity devices on Amazon with catheters, but they weren't for making the wearer incontinent, but for some other chastity related reason.

How did this work and how long did you keep this in for? Catheters freely flowing into a pad are a big UTI risk.

    Night time leaking woes!

What area are you in? An old friend was on Tyneside and got Molicare which were cloth backed and of only three figure capacity. (Even their 'maxi' in the 'soft' line are only about 1700ml capacity.) I've sometimes got ID products from Inco Shop (aka Drylife) and they have a mix of the cloth...

Maybe because it was a single mattress that got ruined, which means it is unlikely to have been one of the parents.

    Questions about wearing diapers 24/7

And import duties, tax and brokerage charges. It's not worth it for disposables which you'll have to re-order in a few weeks' time. I just bought a load of prefolds from the US and Canada and the shipping and additional costs more than doubled the cost of the diapers.

    Prefolds in UK

Yeah I was aware of the problem with their terry flats. I was asking about prefolds.

Any UK sources for ATN briefs?

There's a supplier on Amazon selling a case of them, 96 briefs for £126.93 plus P&P. That's quite expensive especially given that their capacity is considerably less than many of our disposables which aren't advertised as for night-time use.

    Prefolds in UK

Does anyone know if there's a supplier of prefold nappies for adults in the UK? I've just imported a few from the US and Canada, hoping to cut down on my use of disposables (which might not be available for much longer because of Brexit) and the price was exorbitant - on top of the quoted price...

    Best pull-up

If you need the M4 briefs at night you probably need proper tape-up briefs during the daytime as well. If you must use pull-ups then the Abena M3s are probably the best you can get, to my knowledge (I've seen others with better quoted absorbency but which leaked with one 'go' - Lille's spring to...

Do you use the restroom for urinating when possible or just use the diaper all the time?

But with cloth, anywhere but at home, there is the issue of carrying around used cloth nappies which are heavy because they're full of liquid, and which smell. How do you deal with that?

I've Decided to Try Going 24/7

Women with very heavy periods (menorrhagia) might do, and more likely to be pull-ups than nappies as such. Maybe some wear them at night to avoid getting up to change, but the total blood lost during the average period is much less than most people's bladder capacity. If your periods are this...

    Questions about wearing diapers 24/7

I wear the Tena Active Slips and a pair of boxers under chinos and I've never had anyone mention it. I guess it compresses it a bit so it's less noticeable.

Question regarding side sleeping and leaks...

I kind of wish they would make side-fastening cloth pants as well as pull-ups though. It would mean that if they did get wet, you would not have to pull them down over your feet to get them off. (I know wheelchair users who also need nappies and recommended this arrangement to one of them a...

Prefolds , how do you fold yours ?

Could be that when a girl (or woman) is lying on her back (which is how it's encouraged to put babies to sleep nowadays) and urinates, it flows down which means towards the back. When she's standing or sitting, down just means down which is why more padding in the crotch is suggested (hence the...

Best / most comfortable diaper cover or plastic pants?

I use Kins (Babykins) towelling and rubber pants over disposables in bed to prevent leaks and they've never failed on me yet. (Nobody sells the full Gary range in the UK.)

    Supple stores

As I understand it, medical supply companies in the US aren't allowed to sell restraints to non-approved buyers to prevent abuse. This doesn’t apply in Europe - anyone can buy hospital restraints such as Segufix and Biocare over the Internet from suppliers such as ClaraVital in Germany.

Question regarding side sleeping and leaks...

My way of preventing leaks is to wear a terry towelling pant over the disposable and a rubber or plastic brief over that (the Drylife group here in the UK sells both; in the US and Canada you have Babykins and Gary). Make sure all edges are tucked in of course. Have never leaked through that. As...
