Hi and welcome. The name Eli makes me think of the novel, "Let the Right One In" also known as "Let Me In". It may be the best vampire novel I've ever read. The name Eli came from, "Eli, Eli. Lama Sabachthani" or "My God. My God. Why has thou forsaken me?" It's a powerful name for a vampire. I wish I had thought about it when I was writing "Going Home".
