Despite the hate I have already seen on here regarding Tumblr accounts focusing more on the pornographic side of this fetish or lifestyle. I still wish to express my own thoughts, as well as experiences. As my profile name suggests, I am the owner of OklahomaDiaperBoy on Tumblr. When I first joined the site over three years ago, I was fairly new to the idea that I was not alone. I had kept to myself for the most part, and at the time there were only a handful of ABDL themed accounts that were active. Even fewer for the LGBT AB/DL members. I started the account to not only share the pornographic nature of the fetish / lifestyle, but to also promote an open space where anyone with questions could go and have them answered.

I have met many people over the last three years. Many of them have become friends. If I had to guess the number of people I have met over the last three years I would say upwards of 400. I now regularly speak to 20+ and my blog on Tumblr allowed me to meet my first group of AB/Dl people in person. Two of whom I now consider really good friends of mine, and visit very regularly. What to most people is nothing more than a pornographic account, is to me a feeling of belonging as well as a profound sense of accomplishment.

I went from being practically alone in these feelings to coordinating with many individuals over the years and providing a nonchalant experience, as with many other widely accepted fetishes. I am proud of that. Since the conception of OKDB there have been a flood of other AB/DL Themed accounts, and many of them I frequently communicate with. Because of the blog I was able to invest in Tykables, (formerly known as Snuggies) well before they hit the market, as well as trying out new products before launching. My pornographic profile has allowed me to express myself in ways I had never imagined, as well as help me in my professional abilities in product testing and marketing.

I just wanted to share that albeit pornography is often view in a negative light, the market has just the same right and influence as other channels. If you have any questions feel free to comment. I also plan on talking about a couple other topics today and tomorrow before I start my workweek.

I've chatted with and had very positive experiences with Tumblrs. I get the feeling that the Tumblr crowd skews significantly younger, and younger people tend to communicate and express themselves visually. I've no ill feelings towards either group.

Both of you have wonderful points. I appreciate the reply, and also appreciate the clarification. I admit that moderating your own account can be difficult at times, and can understand the concern that arises. I typically moderate by just noticing any account that look younger, or have an age in the bio. I guess I am a bit biased in the aspect as I am younger myself, and actually operate one of the higher volume accounts. Thank you guys again for the replies, and I look forward to many more thoughtful discussions on ADISC

I browse the Tumblr ABDL community occasionally and have no issues with it. I even know a couple people who have ABDL Tumblr blogs and they're nice people. Yeah, I can see why people wouldn't like the porn aspect of it and yeah. It's totally not for all ABDLs. I may have a lot of problems with Tumblr and some of the other communities there, but I have no issues at all with the ABDL Tumblr community.

Meh. I think there's a bit of thin-skinned-ness going on when it comes to this kind of thing. I don't perceive much "hate" for Tumblr, and "hate" for just about everything is massively overblown. If you like something and it's not hurting you, do your best not to dwell on the Internet's distorted depiction of what other people think. You'll be happier.

Now, when I see people getting in trouble with Tumblr, it's usually because they've failed to acknowledge (or notice) that different communities have different standards of content and conduct. As an example, we've had quite a few Tumblr links and several Tumblr-related threads deleted here on ADISC because people linked to Tumblrs that had pictures of topless women in diapers as well as other pictures that were reasonably called "porn". I don't hate that stuff, but the ADISC rules make it pretty clear that linking to porn is not allowed, so it should go without saying that linking to porn is "poor behavior", relatively speaking.

I've not really looked at tumblr before. Interesting. I read your guide to parents OKDB. Not sure if any parents would find it there. Is it posted anywhere else?
What did your friend say when your mum came in with your diaper?
Great that you are also trying to help others [emoji106]

I do have it posted in quite a few areas as well. Total, I now have it posted in 7 different websites. Mostly incontinence support groups, and other websites involving finding your spouse of child is hiding diapers. I set it up on Tumblr, due to the larger reach I have on there. Yeah a niche market, but still a better chance of it being seen by more curious people.
