no, ive been at home for most of it, though next week i get to go to the eye doctor, which should be interesting since i can choose new colors for my contact lenses and since i stepped on my old pair of glasses, i can pick out some new ones XD

oh yes. everything is crazy, the olympic torch is going through my area, on work experience i got so inspect and do the calculations for the temporary stands in the broxbourne area!! i had so much fun knowing that i actually worked out that they built it wrong! XD and i got to tell the architect off for using 600x600 mil wooden plates as the foundation and that he needed 800x800 mil wooden plates bare minimum per support stand without it sinking when people sat down

and yeh, everythings getting done up, this crappy old block of flats recently got cladded and it looks really awesome like it was build yesterday lol. all the undergrounds getting cleared up. everything is being made to be absolutely PERFECT for the games

The only bad part is there was constant fireworks from about 10-12 PM. At least I wasn't trying to get any sleep, because that would have been a nightmare, especially when your entire neighborhood is launching fireworks.

Yeah I read it a while back. Oh well, at least we can hope for similar or new cartoon designs in the future. Anyways, there are a ton of fireworks going on outside my house as of this post.

I guess it's because stores haven't stocked them yet because L/XL sizes don't sell as quickly as S/M does, which means that it is likely the stores want to get rid of their old stock before they replace them with the latest ones.
