Most of them help work on things like acquiring a skill or talent, like divination (the ability to foretell events and circumstances, in its simplest form). Some help you do things, like finding things or people. Others can help advance your spiritual development. There are TONS of domains and spirits that one can work with. But they all work in the subtle realms—since they work in the astral first, things have to filter down to manifest, and will do so in a non-instant way. Finally, they will work through a way that makes sense in this world, though it may be the path of least resistance — that big haul might be an inheritance from a dear relative, so be careful! In my case, the "MONEY HELP PLEASE" working resulted in a heavy labor job quite literally falling into my lap. I'm ouchy daily but I'm making big money—path of least resistance!
