  • I'm a really big OSC fan too, and although the Homecoming series was very different from most of his work, it was still very interesting. I'll admit I almost didn't make it through Memories of Earth, but it really gets going towards the end.

@ Charlie F, thanks, my avatar is an Akita puppy. =)
Is the South Park Avatar from a SouthParkStudios account?
By the way: good to know we have the ADISC Secret Service on the case! =D
Ha! I've read all the books at least 3 times :p The entire top shelf of my book shelf is dedicated to OSC; i love the way he writes. In my opinion, out of the Enderverse books, Ender's Shadow Is the best. For a long time, my signature here was "the enemies gate is down."
Yeah, i've read Magic Street twice and loved it even more the second time. There are so many little jokes in that book that can go unnoticed if you're not looking for them. :D

The only OSC books i've not been able to read are the Homecoming series...don't really care to read them either.
Very rarely does it happen. :p
And thanks! A friend made it for me, it's meant to look just like me. :D
I'm loving the white dog avatar by the way! :D
You got me tooo with your user name :) I read "Descolada", and got the chills. I did have to go to Wikipedia to look it up and see if it was from the Ender series like I thought. Awesome, and welcome!
    Yup you got me. =)
It's actually from Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, and Children of the Mind though.
It's nice to meet someone that made it that far in the series, its a bit philosophical and dry for most people I know. Personally, I thought the series was EPIC.
Have you ever read Magic Street by Orson Scott Card? (Same author)
No, actually I just Googled "cute dog" and came across this. It's been my desktop background for a long time.
