I would have responded defensively too. If I saw someone's plastic pants showing I might tell them but I definately wouldn't ask them why they were wearing them. You're right, that's too personal.

My plastic pants go in the shower with me and get rinsed, the cloth diapers get rinsed and soaked in a pail with just laundry detergent mostlty but every three to four uses I add a cap of bleach to the soapy water.

My cousin moved to Alaska 30 years ago. She movied into a cabin with no plumbing. She told me it sometimes gets down below minus 30F. I can't imagine trying to walk to an outhouse let alone sit down on something that cold. Thank goodness for diapers. Welcome to ADISK

Why don't I ever see Mug root beer around anymore? Is it just sold on the West Coast? I haven't seen Mug since I moved to NY. Barq's and A&W are good too but to me Mug was the best.
