What wonderful grandparents you have!

I find that premium adult disposable diapers feel great when soaked, since they swell up and give a a nice warm jug. But I wear cloth diapers almost exclusively which feel perfect to me whether soaked, dry, or somewhere in between.

Hard to say, but I'll go with a slightly wet cloth diaper like I have on know. I'm very proud of my soaked and saggy morning diaper but keeping it from falling down when walking around is hard, unless I have a onesie on.

I will never tell anyone in my family that I'm ABDL. Although, my parents knew of my interest in diapers because my mother caught me a time or two, but I'm not sure if they put 2 and together, so to speak.

Sounds like progress. It's the same for me - I wake to wet, at least most of the time, but there are some legitimate sleep wettings, verified by my wet bed when I sleep without my dipaer on.

Often I do, but not always. This is a good thing becauae at my age, I pee at least once every 2 hours. If I went into little space every time I have to go, I wouldn't get any adult time!

Certainly a good strategy. I used to do the same which eliminated the need for stripping. But I've been having good luck for the last 5 years with the pre-rinse routine.
