My Urologist is fantastic though, I'd been researching problems with ADHD sufferers and for guys an orchiectomy was mentioned as a way of resolving he issue. Neurostimulators were brought up but my underlying thought was I've had a fair few surgeries in my life. I don't like them. I don't like the recovery and don't like they way you feel so if I was going to have to have. Procedure done I'd rather have one that was a guaranteed win. Loosing my balls would do this.
So I've had the psych analysis and everything, I've even had sperm frozen and in due to loose them on the 3rd August.
I'm 36 and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't shit scared, but I'm hoping the results will kind of set me free. I'll be able to take far less meds afterwards, my moods should stabilise and it will hopefully calm aggression which will help all round.
Did you get falsies put in? I've chosen my replacements already. It's weird picking the size and weight of your balls!
    Cheers, Jamie
    Hello
    Cheers for the reply.
It's a massive step to take having this done but it sounds like you were more than ready for it.
I have ADHD and although I hate taking meds for it they do make a huge difference to how I cope and behave, I don't like the fact I have to take them because I know they suppress parts of my personality which I do t think is right but I need them if I'm to function as a normal person so to speak. The other problem I have with them is that as a few of them are hormone and steroid based and because I'm on them long term they react badly with my own hormones and make
Me pretty sick. I get swollen achy bollocks, headaches, back pain. It's not fun. I've had this for over 10 years and I'm tired of trying to live with it, its bad enough dealing with the fact I need nappies!
part two on its way (was too long for a single message! )

With the pain I was in, I was grateful to have mine removed. Of course, the first urologist I was seeing refused to even consider this, swearing instead that I had to go with a neurostimulator implant even though the doctor who would do that procedure recommended we try an orchiectomy first.

The procedure itself was done under general anesthesia, and there was almost no bleeding for me. One great recommendation was to use a bag of frozen peas on the scrotum after to help avoid swelling and pain. Have a couple of them, you can swap them out and re-freeze as needed.
