  • Hey, I find it cool that you were a paramedic! You were said you were civilian, but that is still frontline IMHO! Thank you for your service!

I'm a missing my mommy very badly today. I've been in NH for close to a month now (for work) and I've only been able to talk to her on the phone.

My New Years resolution came true: to find a new job :D, but with it comes all sorts of logistical issues. I will be moving back to NH permanently, and I now need to find a new place to live. I'll also be without my Mommy for a few months  (She'll be joining me once I get settled in).

I've just about recovered from Covid. I still have a dry cough and some sinus congestion, but it's fading. I still don't have my full sense of smell and taste back, but I'm hopeful that as time passes it will get better. If there is a plus to all this, it's that I've lost 20 lbs. LOL

Glad you're recovering take things easy and that you're no longer short of breath.
What a difference a few days make. My fever is finally gone!!! Still some coughing, but no shortness of breath. I'm definitely on the upswing. 😀 🥳

Better days will come :) unfortunately, even though I have basically no other symptoms, I lost my sense of smell today :-/ I hope I can keep my ability to taste or I’m gonna be real pissed 😤

I was wondering if you got hit with that, it's a very common symptom. I've been dealing with that since day 1. I couldn't smell or taste anything for a few days, it's now a little bit better, but I still have a long way to go. A friend of mine who had this back in March lost his for a month before it came back, but it did come back! 🥰
Covid sucks! I tested positive. Low grade fever of 101 for days on end. Lots of sweating and chills. Thankfully, I'm not short of breath and have very little coughing.

Makes sense. Typical viruses, including typical coronaviruses, tend to hit hard and cause a thermal reaction; unfortunately, this is not a typical coronavirus and it hits extra-hard, which explains the high death toll among the elderly and immunocompromised.

TS Isaias was really nasty here. Trees down, power lines down all over the place. We had a 60mph wind gust and then all heck broke lose. I went out a bought a generator, but I didn't even get a chance to use it. The power came back on this morning; oh well, there's always next time.

I remember the one time I used a generator: had to clean the carburetor out to get it running...then it went supernova, taking out a fridge circulation fan & gas furnace transformer. 3 days of stormy, icy cold in the house. Chinese Costco generator trash.

Fank yoo. ❤ I've been wanting to commision Toddler Girl/Star for a long time. I finally drummed up enough courage to ask her.
Ugh another day with low back and hip pain. I was hoping that it would ease up as the day has gone on, but no such luck. The last time this happened I ended up needing hip surgery.:rolleyes:

Fank yoo. Looks like it's time to see my orthopedist.
My doggie had surgery and did very well. 😄 I knew she would, but these kinds of decisions are much too stressful for my little side. 😫

My Golden Retriever has been unwell for the past few days, and she wasn't getting any better. So, I took her to the vet, only to find out she has Pyometra. I never had her spayed due to the fact that I wanted to breed her and certain studies showed it is healthier to leave a dog intact. I've decided to have her spayed, but I'm still feeling very torn and apprehensive over the decision. 😞

She should be fine after she's spayed. Just make sure she doesn't keep licking the stitches after she gets it done (otherwise then you'll have a bigger problem).
