I love bowling, I haven't been in so long I can't remember my best scores but when I worked for O'Reilly auto parts years ago there were people from several different stores that had a league I was a member of and we did pretty good for a bunch of misfits! Maybe one day I'll be able to get back into it for more than just the odd birthday party or Christmas party.

I drove for many years Kenworth was my favorite truck. I liked the 900s they look the best but always enjoyed my 600's you could just see around the hood a bit better than the 900s. But they ride real good and have 4 air bags to a axel instead of 2. But I have driven the 380 peter built freight shakers and international. The eagles really are a nice truck I know a lot of people don't like them. But If I had to go back to it today I would prefer a KW.


Do you know why test tube babies don't make good truck drivers? Because they are not Peterbuilt.

I hope you get back into it. It is just a fun game and it is inside in the AC and even a fat man can play.

I bowl in 2 leagues and sub in others when I available. Also bowl in the occasional tournaments. I don't wear anything unless I know I'm having a bad day. At that I would just wear a pullup and fold the sides down. My avg last season was 225. Slow start this season right now at 220. I have only 2- 300's with 6- 299's. I also have 3- 800 series with a high of 822.

Very nice I hope to get mine back up over 200 this year. I think it will come back to me after a while. I kinda new I would set a lower average because I laid off so long but should be able to use that to my advantage with the handicap and all. Very sad the first week I set a 151 but it is climbing steadily now. I see a new hammer infamous in my near future. My old hammer badass is starting to split between the fingers.

I first took up five pin bowling when I was in the 8th grade as a winter activities thing that my Grade School held each year.

During High School, I used to bowl off and on with friends.

And a few years after I finished High School, I had a stint in league bowling.

Got 2 new balls today. A Hammer Raw and a Hammer infamous. The infamous has a lot of hook potential. The Raw is a bit more tame I shot 200 with the infamous and 230's with the raw. The Raw is a wonderful down and in ball where I really have to swing the shot on the infamous more but both are great balls. They both pair nice with my Hammer Badass.

It has been several years since I have been skeet shooting but I always liked it. But I like to shoot anything, I have a HK94 9mm rifle just like a mp5 but with a 16 in barrel. It is one of my favorite rifles to shoot. Its not very loud it has almost zero recoil and very accurate. Just to bad ammo is so high right now for any gun I can't afford to shoot much.

I have a lot rare guns that most ppl I know would love to own in their house. a P90 long barrel wrapped in rattle snake skin, a 338 Lapua, VSS Vintorez, a Colt Python was a birthday present from my mom. Six AR-15s , Three AR 10s, Four 300 blackouts one of them comes with a masterkey. My Dad has a lot of civil war cannons and has couple Howitzers that you can tow. I have whole lot of guns, sometimes I don't even know what I have in my safes. Well c'mon down to Texas and we'll go blow about $4000 in ammo lol

I would love to go to the range and just go nuts. It has been a long time since I did that.. I have a few ARs and other guns as well but not a huge collection. Enough to protect myself in the event all hell breaks loose. I have shot many high end guns over the years especially when working at the gun store. I have even got to shoot a Barret M107 and a MRAD in 338. But my favorite gun that I have ever shot other than various machine guns would have to be NEMO Arms Watchmen. It is a AR platform 300 win mag and it has very little recoil do to a special buffering BCG. It is a very fun gun to shoot and a novelist shooter can ring a bell at 1000 yards. The guy I use to work for would break out a case of 223 and 9mm every month or so and we would just take turns basting through the ammo with his MP5 and C93 both with the fun switch on of course. It was some good times for sure. I would love to shoot some real artillery like a howitzer though. It is on my bucket list for sure but there are not many places where you can fire one. Miami Oklahoma has a full auto event every year and they always have artillery you can pay to shoot a few years back they had a howitzer dummy round skip out of its intended target zone and landed in someone's bedroom miles away. Lucky no one was home and it was not a explosive round. I have yet to go to this event. Maybe next year.

I was in a bowling league as a kid, but I wasn't very good at it. I think my best game was... 176 or so, maybe. Most games weren't that good. It was lots of fun, but I didn't really make any friends there. That bowling alley isn't even there anymore now. Outside of that, I think my highest game ever was in the 190s.

It is to bad they have had to close some of these bowling alleys. I have always liked the game. Nothing wrong with a 190. You should try and go again sometime. I love seeing younger people get in to the sport.

Yep, it is sad. But in this case, there was a fire and the place never reopened. There are some other bowling alleys around that I've been to since then. But I haven't been bowling in like 3-4 years now. Most of my games were nowhere near 190 at all... I was just doing really good that day somehow. I don't know how. Sometimes I was lucky to get over 100. I'm not sure how/when I will someday go bowling again. And I'm sure I'll be rusty when I do.

I use to work in the back years ago. Then they stopped letting employees bowl and I turned in6 my notice the same day. I said it was never about the money I just wanted to bowl for free.

I can bowl for free. I work at a different location then I bowl at. So I rarely ever want to lug all my stuff to show up an practice before work. Now if we change the pattern then I will test it out.

Well I got into bowling in 1996 joined a league with ex Gf. Bowled until 2009 had major injury required reconstruction surgery. I carried a 210 average at the time. Have thrown a few games here and there and still can consistently throw 195+. Huge series was 820 threw a 300 in it. ( only one i have. Have 25+ 279 very aggravating many 280's and 290's. Loved it. Even coached kids high school team for 2 years before they got into other sports. Miss it but can not tax the body consistently to join leagues anymore

I can bowl for free. I work at a different location then I bowl at. So I rarely ever want to lug all my stuff to show up an practice before work. Now if we change the pattern then I will test it out.

Yeah me and a employee friend at the time on our days off came and we bowled like 26 games straight. But we was off work and even tho we had a pair of lanes tied up we always made sure we was not holding any paying customers up and we wasn't it was a slow day. For that they stopped free bowling and gave us a 6 free cards. You could use them every week and get them back at the end of the week on payday. I told them at the time I had a driving job and made real good money like 6 or 8 times what I made at the alley even if I was full time and I only worked 3 nights a week. My boss hated me working there anyway because he called me in at all hours other wise. I really like it a lot. I really helped them get there setters re worked when I was there. I dont remember what model pin setters they was except old.but I was a welder also at my work and I would take the broken stainless pin plows in lto our machine shop at work and and weld them up. I dont know why they was broken but they had issues with them breaking before. I built them up and re did them right that was 20 years ago and the manager says they are still holding up well. It was a fun job and if you can do something fun it makes work a lot less hard.

My health slows me down more than the money to bowl. I try to go at least 5 nights a week if I can. I bowl on the casino league (colorrama) and then monday and Wednesday night mixed. Not sure how long I can keep do it but I am going to do it until I can't. I have given up to many things I am going to bowl if I have to do it from a wheelchair and a ramp.

Wow that's kinda like me I had several 279 games and a little lower. I have had 9 strixes the end of one game and abother 6 the game after. For a total or15 in a row but never in one game only have I gotten straight my straight 12 in a row. I hope this year is my year. I am about 180 bowler on monday right now. I hope to get it back up some where it should be. I got a couple more balls to buy but I am shooting 200 more now than ever before. good equipment makes a difference.
