General Events
Sleep in Diapers Friday For those who don't know, Sleep in Diapers Friday is a monthly occurrence for ADISC. It's one time of the month where all the members can partake in wearing what diapers they want to bed on the night of a Friday, through the morning of Saturday. It's once a month, and the first Friday of each month. More information about it can be found in this thread by Peachy. The next day for this, is May 1st, and June 5th and the link for the event is here, so mark your calenders!
April Events
Mother's Day Do you love your mother? Hopefully you do. Do something special with her on the 10th. Make her a present to show her how much you love her, or just spend some extra time with her. This is also a good day to not only recognize your "real" mom, but your ABDL mommy too! I'm sure she'd love a nice e-card, or a special story! Victoria Day Canadians had the day off so they could celebrate Victoria Day, which is a day to honor the birthday of Queen Victoria. We hope you partied hard, and had a good celebration! |

Featured Member- Ellipsis
What is your favorite movie? My favorite movie would be Donnie Darko. It's just so cool that the writer could make all of those things fit in to eachother like that. For instance, Frank the Bunny calls Donnie out of the house, thereby saving his life, and causing him to have to fix the timeline. You should really watch it if you're into SciFi. If you could pick one song to listen to for the rest of your life, which song would it be, and why? I think it would be Beethovens 9th Symphony. It's always going to be a classic, so it won't go out of style, and I can't think of anything so beautiful. Those six minutes I listen to him are the best I can think of. What was your favorite childhood movie? The Lion King. I mean, it had a blend of humour and adventure and drama that one can not forget. I wish I could put more here, but this is all I can think of for now. Who was your first best friend, and what significant role did they play in your life? (Of course a real name isn't necessary) Rebecca Lewis, she was the shit. I hung out with her everywhere. She was the one who taught me my social skills, so that I could make more. I've loved her since the 4th grade, and I've never been able to say how I truly feel about her, although it should seem obvious. I've grown apart from her over the years, but that love has never dimmed. |

Chicken Soup for the ADISC Soul *New Feature*
When I first joined ADISC, I was terrified. Would I be able to completely understand an *b/dl lifestyle? Would people accept me, or will they think I'm "deeker"? I'm proud to say that I have felt such a huge outpouring of love and support from people who have never and probably will never know me in real life. For those that have looked beyond my user name and reached out to me, thank you. I have learned so much in my short time of being on the site, such as...some of you are freaks, just kidding. No, seriously, I've learned that everyone needs to feel accepted, loved, wanted, and needed. I already knew this, but our little family here proves it. We all need someone to talk to, laugh with, love with, share our problems with, or heck, just snuggle with. I spend a great amount of time on IRC, just chatting. I'd like to think that the way we interact with each other has made me a better "mommy". I know it has made me a better person in general. ~DominatingMommy If you have a story you'd like to share, please send it to Abby via PM. |
